Seems like a great price for 4200 points to me, normally you'd struggle to find them for under £30. I'm guessing DirectFoto aren't very reliable then, seeing as it's so cold...

Hi folks i purchased 4200 points on thursday but no dispatch email yet, emeiled them yesterday but again no reply as of yet. I'm gonna call company tomorow and will let everyone know. From a search on the net alot of people have either had problems or never recieved anything but that spanning over the last few year nothing current.
it says on the site should dispatch next working day i'm sure

Ok called the firm today and they gave the line that they have had difficulty getting hold of these :? and that they expect 8 :thinking: yes only 8 in tomorow with a backlog of 39 people who have ordered them. Acoording to the guy i spoke to i was 3rd on the list and would have them dispatched tomorow. Yeah right believe it when i see the email confirmation of dispatch :x

Thanks for the update mate. I can see this being a refund job myself. Not holding much hope and want the points asap to get the CoD maps.

I also rang and was told the same about only having 8 coming in. The guy I spoke to said I was first in the queue, so fingers crossed for dispatch email tomorrow.

Hey chap, like you I ordered some last Thursday, and as of yet, not heard a thing from directfoto.. I'll keep a look out for 2morrow aswell to see if I do get a dispatch e-mail but I dont have very high hopes... If Ive heard nothing by Friday, Ill ring them myself.
Tad annoying cause there is a Arcade sale on as of 2morro, and I wanted to take advantage.

just tried calling them today and guess what, forwarded to a voice-mail which, surprise surprise is full. and it is only4.10 so should still be open. I'm still very annoyed with this site as, if they are out of stock on these cards why is it still allowing you to buy them on the site and not telling people its out of stock. I'm sending another email to them now and following it up with a call tomorrow as well if no success then its getting cancled and reported to trading standerds. I suggest te original poster of this offer states in the first post that there are problems with this company.

I have emailed them to cancel the transaction. I'm sick of waiting now as the service has been terrible. Tried calling but was in a queue for ages and give up.

Certainly wont be going near these again.

From what i have read else where you would be better calling the company of the card you paid with to get the refund as they have been known to take ages giving a refund. You should find they have already taking the money as well. my email to them and to the company they are part of.

Please see below the email i have sent to [url]www.directfoto.co.uk[/url] customer services. As I have had no luck with them this will be my final attempt at trying to find out what is going on. As they are a wholey owned subsidiary of MX2 Computers Ltd and is operated from Guernsey by MX2 Computers Ltd. as stated on their website i thought i would come to yourselfs as a last resort. I sent an email on mon the 29th in regards to my order which is order number *******. As of yet i have had no reply to that email. I called your customer service department and they said that you were out of stock on the 4200 Microsoft points cards but would be getting 8 in on thursday 1st of April. He said there were 39 backlogged orders, although i was 3rd on the que to get one of the 1st 8. As of yet i have not recieved any dispatch email. I have since tried calling your so called customer service department which just forwards me to a voice mail box which is full. If i DO NOT get a reply from this email within the neext day or 2 then i will be contacting trading standards about your website and service and also contacting my visa company for a full refund since i do not get any service from yourselfs. I have marked this email urgent and time of sending is 12.28pm on the 2nd of April.

p.s if your site was out of stock on these cards it should have said so.

Although i may just have to call visa company the now and get it refunded.

thats ver strange as i have phoned the past 2 days and everytime i have phoned it played music for about 1min or 2 as if in a cue then put me to voicemail thats already full. what number has people been calling?:?

Yep I'm having the same problems. Ordered on the 26th Mar, money taken on the 27th, no items arrived and cannot get through via there telephone number, it goes to a full answer machine. Awful, avoid.

Well, im dissapointed with the service but it appears they will turn up in the long run hopefully, Ill try ringing tomorrow to see if they have sent them out yet. but its very annoying I wanted to buy a few arcade games from the sale, I had to buy an instant code from shopto instead as the deal finishes 2day.

Same here ordered on 24th and have had sweet FA from them, sent 2 e-mails to them so far with no reply, I've just informed my bank asking what my options are, anybody else had any luck with these ??!

I ordered on the 25th, and as i posted earlier they told me on the phone last week that i was top of list. Seems to me that was probably not the truth !!!. I sent an email yesterday but no reply. couldnt get through on the phone either. what did your bank say ?

I emailed them to cancel at the weekend. Had an email saying the order was cancelled on tuesday but still no refund showing. I'll wait a couple more days then call them again.

I have heard this in other forums bud. Best get on to your card company to get an instant refund, i wouldn't even wait the couple of days. Just tell the bank or card company you suspect that the site s now dodgy after seeing other customer complaints. Let them get the cash back for ya ;)

I'm waiting in a que on the phone to them the now, sae to say i'm not a happy person right now with them. I'm reporting them to trading standards.

Never got hold of anyone kept me in a cue for 20min then fwd to a voice mail which is already full. I did contact mx2 computers by email but they just gave me the same bull story about not being able to show if things are out of stock on the website cause they also take mail and phone orders, and said they were expecting them in within 2-3 working days, That was on the 3rd of April and i still haven't received anything. Product or dispatch email so card compnay is getting involved.

I ordered via my credit card company so luckily I can go through them to get my money back. I called them today and they are sending me out a form as i explained that this company is not answering emails or the phone. @Phil1979 I suggest u do the same ;) I am now sending an email off to trading standards as well now as this is very bad service.

Avoid this company and also MX2 computers as they are both associated with each other.

Well my email to trading standards has been received and also asked them to keep e up to date with their outcome. I warned the company in an email i would go to trading standards :x
Just waiting for credit card company to send me out the forms to fill in for a refund. I'm not even gonna try going to the company direct for a refund anymore.

Oh and just for everyones info, Directfoto have broken their own T&C's as we should all have had an email after 5 working days of order placement to say they were out of stock, which i never got.

I've had my refund now mate. It normally takes a couple of days after them issuing back to a card to show in your account which is why I gave it a couple days.

I'm out of the woods now but certainly wouldn't be buying from them again.

What did u buy 2100 points? I have tried ringing them today but not got through. -.- I cba to try reclaiming my money Im happy to wait for them to arrive, just wish I had an idea when.

Ok i called them today as my refund form from my visa company have not arrived yet and was told they got dispached to me on friday. So will give it a couple more days but never will i order from them again. thats been over3 weeks going on 4 since the money was taking from my account.

my 4200 points arrived today but i wont be using directfoto again. Good luck to others who ordered . Hopefully yours will come too
