My son just brought one of these in America and its so much better than the ipod!, bigger screen, bigger memory and links up well to the xbox.
If you were thinking of buy an ipod, think again.:-D
#2

thanks
#3

Sort of half right....DO NOT BUY A 30GB Zune, buy the all new 80GB Zune that's only $250:-D , I have owned both an Ipod and Zune so can quite confidently say the Zune is MUCH MUCH better, better battery life, bigger & better screen and also has the added bonus of when Microsoft do bring newer players out with updated software then the software is made available to older models! (unlike Apple)
#17
A guess the millions of Apple Ipod users must be wrong!

BROWN....nice colour!!

Nice avatar.

Waffles are nice.

I also have both ipod and zune and i agree the zune is much better and would recommend it to anyone. I brought the 30gb, the 80gb may have more memory but doesnt have an equalizer
Yes all the apple ipod users havent heard of the zune, there a load of sheep
#20
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
#21
i'll put my penny worth in now, yes it is a good buy and well worth it!
#22
price now £99.99
#23
A Zune is ok but they are extremly thick like a 5 year old MP3 player.
#24
For reals, I'd recommend against getting this. It's the 1st gen Zune and is just a re-packaged Toshiba Gigabeat S (a great player, but isn't exactly rammed with killer features so could lose in a game of MP3 Player Top Trumps with almost anyone). 2nd gen Zune is much, much better.

Great price though, if you happen to be in the market for a brown zune.
#25
I still love my NWA-3000 for its faults, looking to upgrade soon mind seeing as Sony where nice enough to ditch the whole system they where running...

And the Zen might be the boy :)
#26
Nah, not too hot compared to other MP3 players.

Every electrical item you get, you have the software bundled in. Even if the said product needs no software, you can 90% guarentee some sort of bundle on a cd is included.

As for the deal, cold I'm afraid. Why would you spend a hundred quid on a first generation Zune? Crazy

Yeah thats not really true, there was no demand thus they slowed the supply. And are trying again.
#33
If you can get one from the states at $100 definately worth it as a secondary player or fine for someone who doesn't reall care about music but anyone serious should look elsewhere.
#34
I have have video ipod in the past, looks great but was ****, small display, and I was petrified of scratching it, I got a Zune from America in May, best purchase I've ever made.
#35
Be warned tho that the screens break very easily on these. I had one in my pocket and as far as I remember I didn't bump into anything. When I took it out of my pocket I had a nice little crack on the screen. A simple google search will reveal alot of people with the same problem.
