I don't think the console versions support that and the game's level of violence has been remarked upon. It's a far cry from the likes of well Far Cry, GTA and The Evil Within for sure but it's probably best to choose something else for him tbh.

Apparently the voucher code doesn't work on that and some people will want it in time for Christmas (my recent and first experience with Rakuten was far from hassle-free).

No it's OK, you made a good point. It took me 2 weeks, 2 phone calls and an email to sort out my recent problem with Rakuten though and that was on my first order.

No worries, it's refreshing to see a parent exercising some responsibility on this subject tbh. X) The good thing is that it doesn't have the swearing the horror and sexual content that a lot of more modern mature games have. I think most 13 year olds could probably be OK tbh but it depends on the each individual and obviously it's up to you.

Just make sure that you enable parental controls on his console then if you haven't already otherwise all he would need is a bank card or a top-up voucher to buy and download it himself.

Something tells me I've just crapped all over one 13 year old's Christmas. ;)

its not real blood you see, its black stuff that comes from the heads of orks and uruks using magical swords and bows. not like murdering humans in GTA and Far Cry with baseball bats and knives...

so let your 13 year old have some fun and stop being part of the PC parade, its set in fantasy land of middle earth for gods sake!
