I know Rock Band 3 is long-dead but these work well with the Mac & PC as a 2-octave MIDI keyboard with velocity-sensitive keys.

** Cheaper item in post 5 **

If you don't already have one, you may need (see post 3) a USB-MIDI cable for around £3.50 (see item http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370947163355).

Good price but still worth checking home bargains as some still have stock for £4.99, mostly the 360 model.
I have one of these and I recommend getting one. It's a surprisingly robust velocity sensitive keyboard.

To correct what BubaMan says, you don't actually need a USB-MIDI interface if you're using a PC (I don't know about OSX, sorry). You can use the included USB dongle and after small amount of configuration you can run it wirelessly with pretty acceptable latency.

EDIT: Here it is FYI: https://github.com/nardi/rbkey-midi
