No it isn't. And that's not just my opinion either, look at gamerankings.com - Midnight Club: LA has an average rating of 82.1%. NFSU has an average rating of 64.7%.

I got Midnight Club: LA for £17.99 a while ago, it's well worth it IMO.

lol you must be about the only person that thinks that. NFS is rubbish, Midnight Club is ten times better.

Strange then that NFS is ranked no.13 out of 9737 games at videogamer.com whereas Midnight Club can only make it up to no.35. :whistling:

I suppose it's horses for courses ... I prefer NFS (on a few reviews I read it mentioned lag issues, but I've not seen any in the several hours I've played it).

Most reviews I read for Midnight Club stated that the levels were inconsistent in their difficulty (some 'easy' levels were harder than the 'hard' ones).

Not strange at all considering the rankings there are based on site traffic, not how good the game is. If you look at the actual ratings there, NFSU is rated '6: Disappointing' at videogamer.com. Whereas Midnight Club: LA is rated '9: Essential'. Just FYI.

You could argue it either way based on reviews - I based my vote on gameplay....

Also, NFS is in the Top 5 games sold over christmas (according to the stats in todays Sun (Midnight Club isn't) - so plenty of people must think it's good enough to buy.

You'll find reviews are generally based on gameplay too. And you'd struggle to argue it either way based on reviews because Midnight Club: LA was pretty much universally rated better than NFSU (see gamerankings.com). Fact. It's well worth getting at this price.

(And as for your sales stat, this deal is about Midnight Club: LA, not about NFSU. It's irrelevant how many copies NFSU sold - although when comparing sales over Christmas, you should probably take into account the fact that Midnight Club: LA came out a month earlier than NFSU did.)

Also I'd like to point out that Midnight Club has now been patched to address the difficulty issue. Also saying a game must be good because it sold a lot means nothing. Most people buy a game because of the name e.g. Fifa, NFS, Tiger Woods. It could be the worst game ever but because it has Fifa on the box, people will buy it in droves.

Nobody is right here, if you love NFS and prefer it to MCLA good for you that is your opinion. but what is fact is that MCLA is a much better game based on every single review site.

Midnight Club LA
Avg Ratio: 81%
Based On 53 Media Outlets

Need for Speed Undercover

Avg Ratio: 65%
Based On 48 Media Outlets

Add in the fact that Midnightclub LA is also the cheaper game then it wins hands down.
