Great thanks! I can now throw away the crap vax one i bought last year. Absolute piece of crap lol
#3
Ordered for my mum for 'Christmas', thanks! :D
#4
I'm very tempted to buy one myself at this price. Miele are one of the best makes and it should last years. ;)
#5
This is such a bargain. Bought a miele before all the EU regulations come into force - would never go back to a dyson. Good find op.
#6
Got one thank you! My mum has been after a Miele, have to get one for her at this price!
#7
Awesome! Been waiting for a good deal on this for moths after missing out on the more powerful ones!
#8
I have t 2000w version up from this model. beats hands down my previous dyson on suction and build quality. hot hot hot!!
#9
Thanks for posting OP ordered
#10
Good catch! Anyone know how much the bags cost?

Bags are about a tenner a box which has 4. I only use a box and a half max a year.

Hated my Dyson when I had to empty the dust as it went everywhere. My Miele is so much better.
#12
Thank you so much. I have ordered one . I can now happily pass on my dyson. Thanks OP

Compatible ones for a fraction of the price are readily available on eBay.

Dyson will have better suction than this. Fact. Admittedly dyson's build quality isn't as good but if looked after will last well. Dyson seem to be the apple of the vacuum world these days.
#17
Build quality for Apple products is second to none.
#18
ordered one at 1am this morning, Heat added - thank you
#19
Thanks! Any links to best place for compatible bags? How often do the filters need replacing?
#20
Just a heads up, the replacement bags look a lot more expensive than the S series replacement bags.

Dyson is better me thinks. Sure the price is stupid but add all those stupidly priced bags keeps with a bagless vacuum.

Also people say dust goes everywhere when u empty the Dyson, really? do you not know how to cover a bag around it and turn it upside down?

Yep, eventually your miele will have been purchased for £200

Our survey says: FAIL!

4 replacement bags (original) cost about £9 on amazon and last at least 1 year - hardly a deal breaker!!

I have been very pleased with our Miele that after eight years is (apart from some cosmetic scuffs) still going as good as day one. I have ordered one of these for another member of the family. Thanks for the post.

And by the time the Miele has cost £200, you'll be on your 4th £200 Dyson
We've bought 4 boxes of bags in 17 years for our Miele, at a cost of around £45.

It's £99 here too for 10 people only and free delivery unlike Tesco. (Then it goes up to £119.99 with 5% off I think). They deliver to England / Wales (few exceptions) but not to Scotland.

They are a Google recognised shop so sound.

I bought this VAX and im quite happy with it, its more powerful 2000W, a bit heavier and relatively quiet for its power

You will not go wrong in buying a miele. I've had three Dysons, all of which I loved. Hell I even got super excited when I managed to get my hands on a green/purple DC07 one week before it was officially released (argos ballsed up somewhat), but now that I've tried Miele there's no way in hell I'd settle for anything else. I've had my current Miele for 8 years now, in that time it's been abuseds illy - even sucking up rubble from a house refurb in which we tore down walls - and it's just kept going. Both build quality and performance have been excellent, so when it does finally pack in it'll be replaced with similar. In actual fact we were so happy with the vacuum cleaner we decided to buy a Miele washing machine when the old one packed in and, again, we're super happy with it - but that's for another bargain thread.

If you're not still not convinced, grab yourself a cuppa and have a read over this http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/2ldfs3/iama_vacuum_repair_technician_and_this_is_the_1/

Try a firm called espares, order the cheap ones and they will send you a voucher code a few months later for a fiver off. The bags are spot on, half the price and espares are brilliant.

Hi, what's the difference between this C2 model, and the C2 cat and dog model? Is it just different brush attachments?

Edit: Checked the Miele site, and the differences appear to be that the Cat & Dog model has a turbo brush, an airteq brush and a charcoal filter to deal with pet smells...

Thanks poster. Heat given & Ordered :)

Does anyone have this model? Does it perform well? Can you compare it to a dyson , and also does the full head suck or does it just have a hole in the middle?
#38
Just so you all know Amazon have price matched it so can get prime delivery earlier

Thanks OP

This only has a D rating on carpets, that's not good
