My cat will never use a vacuum cleaner, all it wants to do is eat, sleep and complain.

Love mine, would never buy another brand.

This is C1 though. Lower power than C2 which was traditionally cat and dog. Does this work as well ?

Miele as a brand is very highly rated on 'Which?'.

I have this vacuum and I can honestly say it's the best vacuum I have ever owned. Before I got this I always had Dyson's and would never have thought of buying anything else as I have 5 greyhounds and vacuum at least once per day. My last Dyson died and was going to buy another until I saw this model in the sale at half of the price of the Dyson pet model. I am pleased I chose this as at 1600w it puts Dyson's to shame. I know the energy rating isn't great, however it does the job in half the time so it probably doesn't use much more than other models which you have to go over the same spot over and over.

I read somewhere that all manufacturers are having to stop building anything above 1400w (I think) due to EU laws, so it won't be long before Miele's will be even less powerful.

Thanks but this one is 1400w. Sounds as though you have the old one if it is 1600w which is the C2 ?

I'm confused with all the Miele models. What is the difference between C1, C2 and C3?
#8
By 2017 the max will be 900W.

The Miele website does not mention this model. And the previous price of £299 was for a month and a half and I do not believe it sold for that in other shops. Usual Currys pricing.

Miele website says the non cat & dog version of this is £140, and I think the only difference is this one comes with a turbo brush.
