#2
The best suction cleaner for under £100?
#3
1600 watts is pretty poor
#4
1600w is fine the bags cost otherwise hot
#5
This sucks. It's a hot from me. This is one of the best brands out there and a great price!
#6
5 bags for £8 online, not bad. Best vacuum I've ever had, very quiet.

So what is you look for then if your Hoover is poor at picking-up.

All Miele vacuum cleaners are Which? best buys so for this price, they are hot!

As for vacuum bags, I get OEM ones online like 7dayshop for less than half the price of Miele ones and they to the same job ;)

I have this one paid 89.00 last year and its brilliant and kept suction, beats my dyson thats started off good then loses suction and was well over 200. so hot from me.
#11
So is it not worth the extra for a more powerful suck??????
#12
We have the cat and dog, parents the black version - both over 2000watts but we never use them flat out... too much power and noise. 1600watts is more than enough in my experience - £99 isn't cheap tho... as previously mentioned, they do go for around £90 - good price if you need one now.
#13
We are not desperate just my pull along dyson is on its last legs and need a reasonable replacement at some point
#14
Miele best appliances you can get! Hot.
#15
Miele are great vacuums. Most of the competition use v poor quality motors which have a low duty cycle (the higher wattage is from the poor design/materials used, which just means lots of wasted energy in heat generated) so a good quality 1600w motor is spot on and it will probably save you time as well as a few pennies in electricity.
#16
Good deal shame we paid double that for a Dyson a few months back
#17
Hasn't miele gone out of business?
#18
I have the red cat and dog one and it is fantastic. As for bags, boyes have brown paper ones much cheaper. Not an amazing fit, but cheap and cheerful

My Henry is only 1200w and is amazing. Never lacked suction.

No it's not. Are you American? Bigger does not always mean better. This 1600 Watt vacuum will perform better than those using more power ( which in terms that you may understand means you will pay less to run it and it will pick up more rubbish from your floor ).

If you want proof take a look on the Which consumer website.

It has been sold out, I missed it!

Snoose I loose I guess for me!!!!
#23
They have blue and red and domestics direct but not sure about p and p
#24
I paid £200 for mine just over a year ago (the cat and dog version, although I have neither....) - it is without a doubt the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. Buy it!

Exactly, 1200W is more efficient, 1600W uses too much electricity.(_;)

I've got this and highly recomment it. We've been using Miele for years (and years), never let us down. Bags are a bit expensive tho'.

Not a chance!

Re dyson comments above. You can get a full service for seventy pounds which fixed everything but re suction comment, they can't make them any easier to change filters and

Not exactly since the Henry isn't as good as the Miele. It uses less energy but it's less efficient. If people are happy with the suction on a Henry, great, if they want a vacuum with really good suction then the Miele is the way to go.

Of course, there are those out there who think the Which? website is not to be trusted but they must have issues with reality.

Try a Miele, you won't get anything else ( well, maybe the latest Bosch models but...... )
