  I don't quite understand the Dyson bashing as I have both the Miele and a Dyson and I find that the Dyson is better at picking up dust and hair. Don't get me wrong, the Miele is a fantastic vacuum cleaner but I find the Dyson to be more efficient. Anyone else had both and prefer the Miele?

  
  
  I have the new dyson 33 animal for upstairs and the meile downstairs as we have wood downstairs and carpets upstairs, the dyson can beat this in every way.
  
  I think people just don't look after and service their dysons properly, plus you can have 5 years of replacements with a new dyson.

  
  
  Dyson are not in the same league as Miele.... eveyone know this..... well almost everyone, its just the bag prices are high, apart from that its the top dog (and cat)

  just tried to buy this because it would be ideal for my car, out of stock though.
  
  I don't know why the dysons get a bad rep, if you change/clean the filters (few quid of ebay) it's like a new machine.

  
  
  For a car get a numatic, they are better outside and if you get a wet and dry you are laughing....
