Although the description says papeback, when we got ours they were hardback. First published in the early 60's, Dick Druna's lovable white rabbit has remained on children's bookshelves throughout the years and is still as accessible as she was forty years ago. These are truly timeless classics - bright illustrations and clear, simple text tell the stories of Miffy and her family as she is introduced into the world around her. Covering subjects such as the birth of a new sibling to starting school, this beautiful box set will make a great gift for a young child. Alternatively you could split the collection up for party bag gifts.

I think Miffy sucks, my kids don't like it either.

"Dear Grandma Bunny " is a miserable book about bereavement. I know this because a couple of years ago my wife and sister in law took my girls and niece to a tinytots group Xmas party where Father Xmas gave out Miffy books to the girls. My girls got "Miffy at the Gallery" - miserable, and another one now forgotten. My niece got "Dear Grandma Bunny" This was unfortunate as my very sensitive sister in law had just lost her grandma. It really wasn't a good situation. Miffy sucks.
