PAYG Mobile
Wi-Fi
No wires. No contract. Just buy a Top-up and convert it to the Add-on of your choice to get online almost anywhere with your 3 USB Modem.
Was £99.99 but that included 3G of data to be used over three months - but still looks a good deal.

Hi
Thanks for posting and welcome to HUKD. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/

Good idea if you like to use mobile broadband at home and can't get good reception in places you want to use the laptop. Stick this on the window ledge or tape it to the window where it gets the best signal and you can then connect via wi-fi. I am presuming it can be left charging with the power connector.

looks pretty cool - anyone know if it can be unlocked?

The difference between this and USB stick is that it is like a mobile wi-fi router and you could get a number of different devices connecting to it - inclusing those that cannot use a conventional USB modem. You create your very own portable wi-fi hotspot. Sounds a very interesting device and I would be tempted if it can easily be unlocked.

Does it have dynamic ip?

Will depend on your data sim. Most if not all will have dynamic IP addressing. I have a feeling that you can pay heavily over the odds if you must have to have a fixed IP address.

Quidco? I think you can earn £20 on this but not sure. If that is the case then this is HOT!

Yep £20 quidco aswell - assuming three pay up!

I bought the Skype S2, and it tracked, but they declined the transaction the cheeky *******s. I've hardly ever had any problems with quidco. Seems three are bringing their pathetic service to quidco aswell!

Pardon me if this sounds thick - but what would the roaming charges be for this? I am going to Gran Canaria and would like to be able to take my netbook and use it in my apartment in the evenings. I hate using those pay a Euro for 20 minutes computers with the slots in them as there is so much noise you can't hear yourself think!

Essentially it's like a home ADSL wireless router but instead of using ADSL to go online it instead uses the mobile network. To use a normal USB modem you have to plug it in and install the software which can be problematic in some software configurations and a pain in the neck if you're using it with a few different machines. Reception can be a problem as well as the USB modem has to be near the laptop as the cable is short which means you have to ensure you're sitting somewhere in good reception.

With this 'mifi' dongle you don't need to install anything on your machine, the only requirement is a wireless card and that's it. You can position the mifi dongle in an optimal position to ensure good HSDPA speeds.

In practice, you switch the mifi dongle on and check you're in good coverage by checking an icon on the device - if it looks ok then you simply hold the connect button on the side and the device goes online. Another coloured icon shows whether you're connected at 3G or the higher HSDPA speeds. Then you go to your wireless device, search for wireless networks and find your mifi - connect to it, enter the security key and you're now online.

I see that DC Unlocker than now unlock this for 15 credits. Handy if you have a different SIM card.
