Lo' and behold though, Home Bargains in Cross Gates had CRATES of them at 10p per pack. Amazing!

Never heard of these until this week when I saw them in our local shop at 8 packs for a pound, which is cheap enough but 10p is better! Got some for the kids and had to "taste test" them first, I was a bit unsure so the kids only ended up with a pack each due to extensive taste testing :whistling:

Hello! I don't really know. I'm from the Midlands myself, but I studied up here and have continued to live in the area post-graduation. I think it's Cross Gates!

I'm from Leeds and always thought it was Crossgates :-D

it is Crossgates (a.k.a slum) bordering the ever lovely (LOL) seacroft .

Yeah, these are jelly beans. I bought a pile for my son's birthday party bags. They are 55g bags, says they are fat-free, made in Pennsylvania. I haven't tried them but the kids seem to think they are nice enough.

Often Home bargains food has a short date on it, but these are good until Feb 09,. Another billy-bargain from HB.

From what i remember, i wouldnt take them if they were free. Flavour lasts literally 20 seconds and then after that its a generic jelly taste that leaves you with halitosis.
