5mp interpolated. (Really only 1.3mp)

I wouldn't buy anything that's Mikomi branded because drivers can be an **** to find. Get a better named webcam because they are a lot better for future use.

I got one on Friday. Excellent webcam. No probs with driver. Plug and play. Not sure about pixels but certainly better than my 1.3mp one. Can you measure mps? ;-)

Fair point?, but 52 users giving 4.6 score out of 5 is tough to argue ??

Reserved one of these in Rushden for pick up, when it came to picking up it was showing as £12.49

Didnt have time to query it as had to get back to work so I just left it, will see if they actually honour the £7.99 tomorrow!

Anyone who has this: Can you measure the diameter of the webcam at it's widest girth? I'm wondering if it's less than 1.25", in which case it could be adapted for a telescope eyepiece...

These are great i paid £25 for mine about a year ago worth every penny compared to the rubbish logitech ones i have had in the past.

I read on one site that Mikomi/Alba are no real brand names. These are products that are exclusive to Argos, as they get these manufactured / own their brand names. Rating / reviews on Argos site are positve, but there no single screenshot of it actual performance. Guess have to get one to see or myself. Hot though!

Just remember as these are "laptop" cams, they have short USB cables, so if using on a desktop, you'll need a cable extension.
