This milk is always £1 at our Asda.

Better off getting 3 litres of 0.75% Creamfields for £1 at Tesco, or 4 pints of 1% for £1 at Sainsburys.
4 pints of ordinary semi skimmed is £1at Iceland.

as an asda employee had to join up just to reply to this, unless it has changed in the 2 weeks i haven't been at work, the milk has TWO dates on it, a sell by and a use by. The use by is ONE WEEK after the sell by, so if you are buying milk from asda you should never have to search for one that will last longer as its got a weeks extra life built into the date coding. And as someone who does the markdowns, i can tell you that we will reduce it on the SELL BY date then if no one buys it it won't be sold. So, asda milk = always at least 7 days life.

Sorry for newbie ranting, just really grinds my gears as we always have people moaning that 2 days isnt enough to drink 6 pints, its not 2 days its 9!

TBH,the milk at ASDA does not last as long as other supermarkets, and we have had milk that goes off before the use by date!
So we get milk from any shop apart from ASDA...!

well we've got cravendale & this 1% which both only have the use by date on. the other 1 we looked at had just 1 day on it (may have been sell by) either way the 1% will still have lasted longer than it.
