This is a local event, but hopefully it will be useful to some of you, especially if you're looking for something to do at the weekend.
This weekend (19th and 20th March), is the Milton Keynes "Festival of Hockey" at the Planet Ice Arena - a unique weekend event which gives Ice Hockey fans the chance to see the reigning English Premier League champions MK Lightning play Manchester Pheonix and Basingstoke Bison, as well as seeing Milton Keynes Thunder take on English National League rivals, Romford Raiders.
In terms of pricing, the biggest savings are to be had if you buy a "Festival Weekend Ticket", where a family of 2 adults and 2 children save over 18% (£57 instead of £70)
There's loads more info on the website, including plenty of other ticket options.
For those that don't know, Manchester Pheonix are on course to win the league this year, though Milton Keynes Lightning seem determined to make that as difficult as possible. With Manchester likely to be taking the league trophy from MK, there'll be no love lost here.
Milton Keynes Thunder have won 4 of their last 5 games, though the matches against Romford have been a challenge this season. This looks to be a really close fight.
