Next best price, around £30.

One of the most successful TV shows of its era, featuring Barry Evans, Mind Your Language is comedy at its best. Evans plays Jeremy Brown a mild mannered English teacher, keen and ready to take on the world of English language teaching! That is until he meets his new students of course, who can hardly speak a word of English between them!

Barry Evans, fresh from his success in the Doctor series, stars as Jeremy Brown, the hapless teacher for an evening class of foreign students who are hoping to become more proficient in the English language. With his students running the full spectrum of age and race, situations are ripe for misunderstandings in the classic sit-com style!

Running for three successful series on ITV, this DVD set contains all 29 episodes, many of which have previously not been available in any format.

I'm not sure if this is a wind-up but it did make me laugh:

"When I was a kid, in my country, I was attached to this TV show and it used to make me laugh a lot specially on Juan...Years later , I moved out to a foreigner country to continue my studies in medicine. There I was tortured and mocked by mean native people and I used to lead a lonely and difficult life....Recently, while searching for a comedy movie in a DVD shop, happily, I found this TV show, so , I rented it immediatly because I wanted some laugh....and after watching it I felt how stupid I was to feel inferior and tortured by native people...I think this TV show will help me to be more relaxed and take things easier. Most of native people laugh on foreigners, so, if we are sensitive and susceptible, our life would be like hell..this TV show would make our everday life like "mind your language".Can you imagine how wonderful it could be? Holy ravioli..."

The characters in this series were ridiculous stereotypes but it was still quite good fun. Just a shame about what happened to Barry Evans who played Mr. Brown. Don't like it enough to buy but a good deal for some.

I loved this programme when it was originally shown, I therefore bought this, however I wish I never, its very very dated.
