Asda Hounslow today have stacks of Mingles Tins for only £2. Checked with a manager if they were really £2 and it wasn't a wrong label, he said they were part of a national clearence and they had sold pallets of them in a few days but they were only in selected stores.

Wont be in Lincoln store then -its one of the worst Asda stores there is and now they are refurbishing yet again and everything is just a mess -stuff all over the place and half of one thing on one side of store and half on the other , some of its shut altogether -they were useless before this and will be even worse now.
Also never had any of the offers that were posted either .
Stopped going in now .

Great (hot) deal, shame my Asda is wall to wall inconsiderate chavs who appear to go there only to block isles and chat.

They're on clearance because virtually nobody knows what they are, inclusing myself.A failed confectionery product, just like the Cadbury Bliss bar.

Hardly surprising, since that's the demographic they market to --- it's not just your ASDA, all ASDA stores are like that. It's just the way it is, if you want the cheapish prices you need to put up with the sort of customer they pander to.

Popped into an Asda (Glasgow Robroyston) on my way home from work today, nabbed one of the 79p chocolate oranges but didn't see any Mingles.

Bendicks Mingles are assorted mint chocolates, pretty nice as long as you like mint flavoured chocolates!

In 2002, Bendicks introduced a selection box of chocolates called Mingles.

In April 2009 Storck confirmed it was shutting the factory in Winchester at the end of July and relocating production to Ohrdruff, its Eastern German plant. This would result in a loss of more than 80 jobs although it would continue to employ over 30 staff in Winchester to support marketing and sales of its brands in the UK.

Think they do a after eight mint thing, but the mingle i think looks like a chocolate bar i used to eat years ago called a Viscount?.
