I order from Ebuyer for myself and for work on a regular basis and delivery is normally next day if you choose that option or within 5 days if you choose the super saver delivery option. Work for a school so always closed around christmas so not sure if delivery times are worse at this time of year.
Hope this helps

Is this the syma s107???

doesnt look like it from the box picture.

It looks like you can get these for about £15 (delivered) on ebay from Chinese suppliers. This does have the major advantage of being a UK supplier though - shame about the postage charge......

I'll wait for Slamdunkin to give his verdict....:D

This comes with a USB charger which will save on the batteries....It has a Giroscopic stabaliser so is not erratic at all and even if it does have a heavy crash it entirey servicable with parts available...

This is the 9808 which is a well respected little copter....video review here

It's not a Syma clone....very similar but the do have different flight characteristics. The syma is more stable in the air but slower and less maneuverable....the build quality of both models is excellent for the money.

Here you

Well I've just bought two spare batteries for the Syma, coming from hong kong but will hopefully fit, working on the basis that they are all so similar and all the batteries seem the same regardless of the model.

I think they have this same model in Home Bargains. I cannot be sure but it looks very similar. It is 20 quid which is slightly more expensive (including delivery) but no hanging about. Can anyone confirm if the one in home bargains is the same model?

To the people suggesting alternatives elsewhere...

You need to check out the number of channels, built in stabliser/gyro and metal/plastic frame, battery, radio/ir controller etc.. Although a lot of these mini choppers look similar they make a difference to the performance and price :)

is this the same one Amazon are selling for £23 .00 ???

Every time a mini helicopter is posted, you get at least one negative whinger.

We have 3 mini copters, all of which charge from their remote controls - and they certainly do not eat up the batteries!

Of course they have their limitations, they are only small and intended for indoor use only, but our kids (and us) have loads of fun with them. We have had them for nearly a year, no problems.

Excellent price. Voted hot.

I've ordered a Syma Shark for twice the cost of this today. Since Slamdunkin' seems to be a man who knows what he is talking about I'd love it if he told me it was worth 2 of these
oO

Just noticed this thread is 2 weeks old, and eBuyer are out of stock anyway. Someone must have just voted bring it up the list but it should probably be expired...
