Yes, but this give those who don`t trust buying from abroad a chance to buy from the UK at a reasonable price, with the added bonus of free software!

And also don't forget you are charged £1 for currency exchange .. So this deal is better that DealExtreme one..

I just bought one from DX, and amazingly enough, it got delivered within 10 days. Now thats impressive! I bought the one compatable with the windows bluetooth stack so no additional s/w required and just in time for my new laptop :) which should hopefully arrive today. Dell charge a fair bit just to add bluetooth functionality so cheaper to get this. Yes it uses one usb port but I have 4 port usb hub anyway if I needed to use more usb ports.
Considering the price from DX and this price, its pretty cheap! Heat given

Not sure you're doing it right, I and a number of others have never seen that before.

i just checked my paypal account for a purchase i made from dealextreme on 17th may and no charge for conversion. perhaps you are using a credit card to fund your paypal account instead of a debit card or bank account?
#16
is this a legit site? for £2 seems a bargin....:whistling:
#17
I use a credit card for purchasing via Paypal and have never been charged, nor do I ever expect to be charged a conversion fee for a credit card purchase. That is not how credit cards work. Retailers are charged a commission by Mastercard/VISA or the other card organisations to cover administration and currency handling costs.

If I were drawing cash out abroad on my credit card, it might be another matter as banks may levy drawing fees, not foreign retailers who are paid in local currency by Mastercard/VISA. French banks are notorious for this, although it goes against EU guidelines.

Funny you should mention that because I did just that!

And it appears to have worked! They confirmed it with an order reference by email.

Order value = £0.00

We'll see if that works.
