It's just the acronym "LED" that conjures up some sort of magic... Any idea what the batteries are? And is it a variety of LED colours?
#12
these would be great for me as work night shifts as nurse on elderly ward and you never know wat you might step in!!!!!!!!!!!!
#13
Anyone ever ordered one of the ultra strong lasers? I think they're illegal in the UK so not sure it's a good idea.

For an acronym that conjures up real magic you might think of LSD! The inventor of which died this week at the grand old age of 102!

I'm sure a pack of 12 LEDs would entertain :) for hours!!!

Hofmann called LSD "medicine for the soul" and was frustrated by the worldwide prohibition that has pushed it underground. "It was used very successfully for 10 years in psychoanalysis," he said, adding that the drug was hijacked by the youth movement of the 1960s and then unfairly demonized by the establishment that the movement opposed. He conceded that LSD can be dangerous in the wrong hands.[6]

Be careful with the powerful torches and definitely with lasers, did you read the story of the guy who was sent to prison for shining one at a helecopter and nearly causing a crash?

It's not just a man thing! I'm a sucker for torches, and I'm female. I love my little tiny LED torches I got from DX a while back...better than these. I also used to collect watches and have great fun taking them apart to see how they worked, then putting them back together again (and never breaking a single one). Then again, I also used to fix our family's broken appliances when I was a kid. Also love car engines and pcs. Ohh...and I can't get enough gadgets. :p

thanks, have ordered a set of the lights and one of the cigarette cases with the built in lighter - hubby is always coming home with squashed cigs and no lighter so I reckon this will be excellent for him. heat added.

#28
Same here, had a few things on the same order that have come, but still no sign of these. Oh well, I'm not really bothered, I'll give them a few more weeks and see what happens. It's not like a desperately need the £2.50 lol
#29
