Says Mini SD but my Micro SD card works in it.

Are Mini SD and Micro SD the same?

you'll need a micro to mini adapter I think

My Micro SD card works in this very card reader.

Are you sure its definitely micro, as in less than half the size of a sim card?

Yes, TransFlash (T-Flash) was the old name for Micro SD, and besides, Mini SD would be too big for this reader. It's just a case of an incorrectly labelled product.

looks like the reader they gave out with DS flashcarts fairly recently - takes microsd without adapter and no space for any bigger card.
perhaps mislabelled on package as certainly has t-flash on product but no mention of mini there.
btw these are very nasty feeling readers - scrapes inside the usb port and cards feel too tight and scrape a bit on insertion too.

tbh i think there may be a slight risk of damage to either usb or card so id say avoid

This looks identical to one I have. Mine has a single slot on it.
Seems like incorrect marking on the packaging.
MicroSD & Transflash are the same thing/size. Mini SD is bigger.
