I bought one of these a few weeks ago. It arrived within a week and worked fine for a couple of days. It has since stopped working. I think it might have got splashed with water. It doesn't look easy to take the boat apart to see whats wrong.

It takes 2 AA batteries for the transmitter and four AA batteries for the battery pack to charge the battery in the boat. The socket for that takes a plug thats the same size as a PDA charger.

Yeah that sounds like the problem ???....... But why were you foolish to actually put the boat anywhere near water !?!?? :whistling::)

Ive got this one, it lasted 2 months.

You would have thought theyd make it water tight, after using it for 2-3 minutes it starts to sink, and you have to keep turning it upside down to "pump" the water out. Id avoid tbh.

I bought my little bro one for xmas (he's 13 so very difficult to please!!) but he loved this for the novelty factor and the fact all his mates wanted one!
Its still working now, but i think the novelty has worn off slightly.
for a fiver i would recommend it as is it quite a cool gift.
