Fantastic price on this high quality ultra-small size (21 x 55 x 17 mm (W x H x D)) camcorder, not only does it make your video recording far more realistic due to people not necessarily noticing there is a camera there but it also acts as a voice recorder too and can also act as a webcam for a pc. Not only that but it has an incredibly useful function, it can trigger the record function when the sound of a voice can be heard so you can capture what you need, when you need it. The clips and accessories supplied with this camcorder allows you to attach or hang it from just about anywhere.
Why not try using it on your bike, boat, kite, radio control plane?

From what ive read the 4gb bundle comes with a class 4 microsd... so not good for smooth playback. Its worth noting that reviews all state that class 6 is the way to get the best results... so may be worth investing a little extra on a better speed card.

Oldpunk... from your experiences would you say battery life can handle a full 8gb worth of recording time - 2 hours ??

The cam +card deals can include the slowest cards known to man!
Check out md80 cam on youtube.
Not a "fantastic" price at all.

I got one of these off of fleabay that came from china, someone mentioned the instructions, what made me laugh was that someone had painstakingly gone through each box in the factory, or each manual produced and hand amended some of the instructions!!!

It works, its ok, I used mine for capturing fast cross-country cycling and produced good enough youtube footage, but the inclusion of the brackets/mounts would make you think they would be suitable for sports use, the packaging even eludes to this, I would not recommend it, I rattled mine to failure on the first ride, the good news? I got about an hours worth of good footage before it failed!!!

All the thread comments on class 6 micro SDHC cards are sound, I used a class 4 one from an old digi camera, the footage was all juddery, I bought a Kingston Class 6 off of fleabay, and it worked a treat!

Ben, or anyone using this camera.... is there a way to remove the yellow date/time stamp on these ? Mixed reports on google about it, some say using a filter others say simple reflash. Would be interested to know ?

@ Squelds

I havent found a way unfortunately, its annoying as well with the wrong date/time although a quick google search can fix that, but the way I got rid of it, was in imovie on the MAC, I just resized the output picture so that the yellow time/date stamp wasn't viewable on the final edit

An example of that is HERE (yes this is my video!!)

About 1.20 into the vid, you can see where I hadn't successfully resized!!! Ooops!!

It also gives a good example of what you can achieve with the camera, for the price I couldn't fault it, for producing youtube vids, but it does rattle to pieces!!

I have this very camera strapped to the handle bars of my bike, replaced as many screws on the mounts as possible with cable ties and the mount is now rock solid.
Buy the camera on it's own, the kits with a class 4 micro SDHC are a false economy, I know.
Quick video of what it looks like with a class 6 card, there is also a video here with a class 4 card, the one that came in the kit so you can the dropped frames.
