Looks like the one I got from morrisons for a fiver. Quite good volume I was using it aa source of music in my banger of a car before I got my stereo sorted. Bright torch, got it for going away on trips on the motorbike as its small n 2 in 1. Well worth it.

From the quality of my "one earth" rubberised torch & phone charger, this will be very well specc'ed for a small torch & radio, they sell these in millets & blacks for a small fortune, could do worse than get one to stick by for a bit of sound in the garden or garage or wherever.

Excellent little radio, £1.79 absolute bargain. But dont hold your hopes up. I first saw them Saturday lunchtime, there were about 30 left. By Sunday afternoon there were only 2 there.

Good luck

I thought you were winding me up with the price (sorry). I've seen these in Blacks and Millets before too, EuroHike. Unsold Christmas stock perhaps, very good price.

Just stick it in the img tags mate....

Of course the problem is going come when all the main radio stations go Digital which no one seems to want as we'll all have to upgrade our Audio equipment including your car audio equipment!

Still nice price though.

I don't think this will happen any time soon, I recently bought a portable DAB radio. On the move it is absolutely hopeless, it's not like FM where it just goes a little crackly, it just simply won't work, great around the house though. So really for the money this is the ideal product for when out and about, torch too. If I manage to get one I might crack it open and stick a couple of solar cells in the back too, might as well nerd it to the max.

I agree mate, 'Dab' is useless a lot of the time BUT the main radio stations will be turning off their Analogue Transmitters once they go fully digital and at that point we won't be able to get ANY analogue signal so will have to get 'Dab'.

Personally I'm with the 'what's the point' brigade on this one. This whole process is a complete and utter waste of money. The government spent a fortune on promoting it and we'll all have to spend a fortune upgrading our equipment! Yet another government idea put into action that most people don't even want! Typical bloody politicians!

Yes it's a tricky one, I like the fact I can listen to Capital, Absolute 80's, Five Live better quality, 6 Music...But it definitely needs some more refinement; vastly improve signal on the move, more efficient with power. One thing that concerns me, if it all gets switch to digital it could all suddenly be subscriber based only. It wouldn't surprise me.

+1 A friend of mine bought one on Saturday, I went yesterday to go and buy one and they had all gone (Cardiff store). So if you are planning on making a special trip it may be worth a phone call first ;) Amazing price.
