Just got one of these from Tesco (paid a bit more a couple of weeks ago!) - it is VERY good. Highly recomended. Variable height, sturdy design, well worth the money.

Do you need to buy the spikey bit for the ground or does it come with it? :)

Good price and good timing - our washing line has just given up the ghost. Thanks OP

Dont forget to add sim card for free delivery, then take it back.
Great post. Thanks

It comes with a small plastic tube which the instructions say you can cement into the ground rather than a spike. I used an existing hole (!) so havent tried using their one.

I bought a few of them - all seem to be falling when you put 2 kg+ on them, cannot find the sturdy one.

I got one of these a month ago at a higher price (£16.xx) and very pleased with it.
I purchased a groundspike from Argos @ £3.49 which does the trick. You need to keep the plastic tubeing in to make it 32mm
