- i bought one of these last year, and it's been excellent. I only have a very small yard, and this allows me to use all the available space for drying when I need to, but neatly stores away at other times. The next cheapest I can find is £8.16.

Don't forget Quidco!

If you can be bothered with that, just buy a simcard and return that:whistling:

possibly but isn't the object of using this the wind drys the clothes and the drips fall to the floor outside not on carpets?

Pound Stretcher also have these for £3

They'll dry outside faster if the weather is suitable. If your clothes come out of the washing machine wet enough to drip, there's something wrong with your washing machine.

Heat added just because I like the word 'Minky.'

Makes me smile and think of the Pink Panther films.

I have the single one, and it has been a bit of a pain.

You have to loop the wire around the things sticking out of the bottom of the unit (as per the photo) to stop it just taking more line and falling to the floor, but the plastic loop holders aren't that good at holding the line taught and you can't easily double loop it, the plastic things aren't deep enough.

I found I had to take the wire to it's fullest extent, measure my garden to the post, cut the wire and refit it, so that it it now always at its fullest extent and doesn't need looping.

Cheap at £4.88 and even better if Poundstretcher have them.

I paid £10 instore for this last Summer when it was reduced form £15.

I agree that the wire is rather annoying and it is not so easy just to take it out when you want it as you have to faff about with the wires for them to stay in place

Well worth £4.88 though - I did have slight problems taking my sim card back last time so wouldn't be in so much of a hurry to do it again

well worth it heat added even with postage on top

We bought a single one from Poundstretcher about 18 months ago, cost us a couple of quid, within a week it had stopped pulling the wire back in so was just always hanging loose on the floor. About a week after that the "hook" came off. It could have been fixed but by this time I had had enough of it, went and bought a more expensive one with two lines (cant remember where from or how much) and not had any problems with it)

Same model? I'm worried about the quality of the spring, as mentioned above. You shouldn't leave these permanently extended because the spring will wear out.

Looks good. I have a singel for the back garden.

And also because it's quite easy to do yourself a bit of an injury, if you happen to be about 6'5" and not looking where you're going. Not that that happened to my husband, of course. :whistling:
