what about PS3?

what about PS3?

Sainsbury's To You (for Swindon Bridgemead, at least) doesn't do PS3 games, so i can't find that out.

Best looking game I think I've ever played! (xbox). It's amazing .
#4
I tried the demo the other day and wasn't all that impressed really IMO. (gameplay rather than graphics)
#5
It's a bit of a Marmite game this one. But I like it, from the demo at least :)

Will get this one :)
#6
I thought I would love it but then was put off greatly because of how liner the game is.....still good price if you want it.
#7
This game looks so promising but the demo was a bit poor.
Anyone played the actual game yet? I think I'll rent it first.

If it wasn't linear it would end up something like Crackdown which would suck.

Most of the best games of all time are linear.
#9
any1 know if sainsburys will have scene it solus and how much
#10
A bit of possible alternatives would help though.
You should be able to approach an obstacle from like five different ways not one way.
it could still be slightly liner but the current trial and error syndrome makes it feel restricted.
#11
I enjoyed the demo but I'm leaving this one to die and pick up in the sales.
#12

I kinda liked the demo but won't be buying as I have Gears and PES to keep for happy for a long time yet.
Too many games, COD:WAW £27 at Asda as well, damn you

I played the full game through and completed it the other day. It's seriously one of the best games I've ever played. The graphics and whole look of the game are absolutely stunning. It plays and feels like a mix of Tomb Raider, Tony Hawks and Jetset Radio. Tomb Raider in the sense of working out how to advance through the levels, Tony Hawks in the sense that you need precise timing and button combos to complete moves. And similar to Jetset Radio in its style and the precise timing department.

It's obviously just my opinion but I've got Gears2 and COD [email protected] and it beats both of those by a longshot. Gears 2 MP is absolutely terrible and COD is same old same old. I'd recommend Mirror's Edge .
#17
Anyone know how much this is at Asda :lol
#18
tripe game, demo was pants
#19
The biggest drawback ive heard about this game is that its very linear, can be completed within 4-5 hours with little reason to go back. In which case i bet the preowned buckets will be full of them. That said GAME et al will still try and sell preowned copies for £35 LOL
#20
Just been glued to this on the 360... excellent game... although i'm assuming it's going to be short due to how high the GFXs are... bless em. I highly recommend it. =)

While i was getting my COD 5 from Asda i asked the checkout girl to scan mirrors edge and it came back as £39.97!

I told her to forget it.

Nowt!, Gears2 MP is THE biggest let down of the year and COD [email protected] is just the same old WW2 COD as the ones released before COD4. Mirror's Edge was way better then either of those titles (obviously just my opinion). I got bored with [email protected] half way through and gears was completed in the usual 5 hours and I'm not in the habit of waiting half an hour for the broken matchmaking system to find me a game :whistling:. I couldn't put Mirror's Edge down until I'd completed it.

BTW why is this expired??
#25
No idea why its expired.. Its still that price..

No idea how i get rid of the expired though - anyone know!? :P
#26
I called my Sainsbury's and the guy there said it was 39.97 but I'm not sure if he's just giving the standard price because they hadn't got there shipment yet. They seemed unsure.
#27
Well Sainsburys to you is showing the right price for both Call of Duty and Gears, so i can only assume its right for Mirror's Edge too.. I'm going to go pick this up shortly, so i'll let you know.
#28
This game gave my girlfriend motion sickness, just a heads up if you're prone to that sort of thing.
#29

Maybe time for a pee test
#31
Just grabbed myself a copy from my local Sainsburys for £32.97.

Not had chance to play yet though, but hope i don't get motion sickness!
#32
i would of bought this if it was £29 but at £32.97 it seems not enough of a saving to be worth the effort why is this not £29 at Sainsburys?

also COD 5 is £35 why oh why is it not £29 ASDA were doing it for £27!!!! but no ASDA were i live :(
