Great show:thumbsup:

Isn't this just a rip off of 'Misfits of Science (1985)'?

They barely changed the title FFS!?

Haven't seen it, but read the summary, and it sounded almost the same to me.

Loved this. Really good show and the story of the whole series links in really well at the very end even with small details from early episodes giving you "Oh! That's why that happened/didn't happen" moments. Really really good. Can't wait for series two.

I personally thought this was one of the worst series I've ever seen in my life. Acting was awful, writing was awful, plot was awful.

Each to their own though. If you enjoyed it this is a great price for a TV series which wasn't shown that long ago.

Great series.. won the BAFTA for Best Drama Series last month too.

Won out over Being Human (also great), Spooks and The Street.

Season 2 will air in November.

Been waiting for this to go down in price now, can't wait for season 2!

Why no Bluray for this fine series

Why no Bluray for this fine series

I could be wrong with this.. but E4 HD only launched in time for the season finale.

But in saying that, there's no reason why they couldn't have released a Blu-ray.

EDIT: Nope.. I was right!

Wikipedia
On 14 December 2009, a high-definition simulcast of E4 launched on Sky+ HD channel 215.

And the final episode aired 3 days later..

I was going to say about the lack of Blu-Ray... it's a big shame for such a great series

Erm, YES!

I just watched an episode, and it definitely does rip off Misfits of Science, even down to the token black guy. Not that it matters, it was total and utter crap.

Can't believe the childish crap people watch on telly these days. It's insulting. Even if this were kids telly I'd still say they were insulting their audience!

^ If that's the case then Heroes is also a rip-off of Misfits of Science which in turn is a rip-off of X-Men anyway.

The only similarities between them are the super powers (which are gained and used differently in each programme) and the "token black guy" (which, let's face it, is not unique to these 2 shows)

lol, yeah, token black guy is always a regular occurance. Not getting the Hero's comparison, at least not in that order. Misfits of Science was a rather jokey version of the X-men, and Heroes was just a rather cheeky version of X-men the series, Misfits is probably a rip off of them all!
