I was in Asda this AM and had seen the earlier comment regarding the 1KG M&M Peanut bag for £4 and bought two (1 to give to a friend), however at the checkout instead of 2 bags for £7 as per the shelf price they scanned at 2 bags for £5. I went back and bought a further 12 bags for a total spend of £30.

Loads of stock in my Asda in East London,

I don 't know how to link a piccy...sorry

No offence to you finding that deal is a good find, but the bags were over priced anyway.

originally £1 per 250grams... seems pretty decent to me.

£30 on m&ms :| have some self control! :)

The expiry date is June 2009 and I'll give quite a few away to friends who have kids.

I'll probably keep 3-4 bags and eat them between now and June (Probably in a Glass Jar in the Fridge).

No prob with the weight as I cycle about 100 miles a week!!

I don't understand how things work on here......

This is a deal for 1KG of M&M's for £2.50 and there's stock in places and there's neg feedback while there's a deal on here from Tesco for Roses Tins that no-one seems to be able to find but the heat is over 600? Can someone please explain?

Thanks

Hey i was shopping at my local asda in leeds (pudsey) this evening, they had nothing about the offer on the m&ms, i was going to buy one for £4, but had the urge to pick another pack up, so i bought 2 packs, to my suprise when i checked the reciept, they had knocked £3 off multisave costing me a fiver for both packs. Am i glad i followed my urge for another pack!!!. They had 2 for £7 on cadburys variety bags (If i remember they were 600g bags, quite big, didnt buy none though m&ms will do me fine mmmhhhhh!) :-D

in high wycombe they are 2 for £5, but nothing about the price on the shelf, but wnet hrought the till ok x
#20
Good find, but the prices on the shelves in ASDA do not always bear much resemblance to that charged at the till, although seem to have got better of late, especially as I always insisted on the £2 voucher that they give for a misprice. Might be a family think as WALMART are not always very accurate, but good on compensation. Getting paid $20 to eat 7 pounds of grapes was my best deal. Never ever caught Tesco out despite trying for many years.

Theres some serious M&M addicts on the loose.

Can confirm at my local Asda, £4 each or for £5. But it isnt displayed as such, the deductions take place at the till.
#32
Yay, this worked for me- 2 bags for £5 which worked at the self-service till. On the shelf it's advertised as £4 each or two for £7.
Glad to have got these as my only bargain of the day. I spent a couple of hours darting between PC World, Currys, ToysRUs looking for some deals that had be advertised here on HUKD- these stores were pathetic and had nothing I wanted.
Thanks to this Adsa deal, at least my 35-mile round trip wasn't wasted ;)
#33
Thanks for posting, I managed to get mine for £2.00 a bag :) (Bromsgrove branch)
#34
Confirmed at my local Asda in Barnsley £4 each or 2 for £5. As displayed as such, the deductions take place at the till, just use the shelf-checkout tills. Had plenty around. Tempted to buy more but got some other chocolates like Green & Blacks Organic 24 Miniatures Bars at reduced price with expiry date as August 2009. Stock up for birthday presents.

These are now £2 per bag.
