Mission Impossible (Dir. Brian De Palma, 1996): Tom Cruise ignites the screen in this runaway smash hit. Cruise stars as Ethan Hunt, a secret agent framed for the deaths of his espionage team. Fleeing from government assassins, breaking into the CIA´s most impenetrable vault, clinging to the roof of a speeding bullet train, Hunt races like a burning fuse to stay one step ahead of his pursuers...and draw one step closer to discovering the shocking truth.

Mission Impossible 2 (Dir. John Woo, 2000): Tom Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt in this thrilling sequel, and leads his team in a attempt to re-capture and destroy the deadly German-manufactured Chimera virus before it falls into the wrong hands.

Mission Impossible 3 (Dir. J.J. Abrams, 2006): Tom Cruise blasts back into action as IMF agent Ethan Hunt who, with a little help from old friend Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), must take on a deadly new adversary in the shape of Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman)...

This third instalment is written and directed by J.J. Abrams, personally selected by Tom Cruise following his work on creating series such as Alias and Lost!

Love the start of the second film.

This is impossibly good value for money. I'm going in with 15 big ones.

very good deal so have some heat

but in all honesty the only film that feels like a IM-team effort is the 1st one
the others are okay films but more like the Tom Cruise show
sorry just nitpicking really.

quite good action films - but i'm content to see em on telly...

How could J.J. Abrams mess something up like an action film...I guess there's the acting and directing to consider as well. Poor deal for me as there's only one "oh my god, I can't belive I actually spent money on this piece of..." film in this bunch, I'll refrain from voting though.

Hotukdeals is unpredictable...but then you do get quidco with play.com making this deal cheaper via quidco. They're making a forth film as well so this will no doubt be cheaper when that's released.

Unfair to say that 2 and 3 are not team efforts as to me, bar the initial start of the film, the first is far more of a one man show and the least interesting of the three films. Love the sequence in the second film in the lab just after she injects herself, and the third is great quality if not a tad overdoing the old mask trick!

good deal, got this for my dad for fathers day
