Not worth even 10p

As soon as I used mine and it chipped straight away on a small amount of ice. Scraping the windscreen with your teeth would be more useful!!

I have one although a slightly different design and have been pleased with it for the last 4 winters

Mine broke on an icy windscreen.
I put it down to being heavy-handed.
However, I still use it but with a separate scraper and it works well.

This looks like an awesome Halloween novelty accessory.

I got a non-mitt ice scraper for 49p in Asda. Has stood up to chipping away solid ice on the windscreen, highly recommended.
#20
If you know its going to be a cold night what works really well is to give your windscreen a wash of vinegar and water. This helps keep the ice from clinging but you would need to do it the evening before it freezes
#21
I have been having this one for two years now and is so much better that the credit card on the windscreen. Of course, you have to learn not to put extra pressure on the scraping plastic: it is nothing more than a plastic of the type of the school rulers.
#22
I will never use something like this, as it can cause soo much damage to the vehicle by way of scratches etc. Though if your not bothered about that good deal.

It's for the glass, not the bodywork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I challenge you to scratch the glass with plastic!

Saw these. The flat edge of the ones I saw were jagged. Looked like they could scratch up the windscreen - so I stayed away.

oh dear, dont you realise plastic is softer than glass therefore it wont scratch it

Use a plastic spatula (that you would normally use in a frying pan) and a pair of gloves and you save a quid.

What's up with your normal ice scraper and your normal pair of gloves? This is just trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist.

Put mine on the night before so i would'nt forget in the morning, wife is still not speaking to me !!

Because I've got one and I'd rather use that. Last I checked it wasn't a crime....

I have one of these and it's superb! A bargain at £1! Voted HOT!
#34
Excellent - HOT however i will not need this. I have been using my eyelid to scrape the windows in the morning. Unfortunately my eyelid caught a piece of ice that was doing an impression of a diamond and i now have a scratch.
No problem though - Autogla came out and fixed it - and there was no excess*
Also - If you do get this there are councilling sessions at your local GP which deal specifically with not being "hard".

I use my eyelid therefor i am solid

*disclaimer - whole story maybe bullsh*t
#35
Girly Pink for me!!! nice one OP H&R
#36
My wife's mum bought her one of these. The edge of the scraper was rough as a bag of bricks and may have scratched the screen so I threw it in the bin!
#37
I use one of these ,when i go to the benefit office . I just claimed i was a cleric and i got £5000 a week .
Super Bargain for me :w00t:
#38
Looks like a superhero glove. Can I call myself Scraperman if I wear it? But what happens if the scraper breaks? Then you're just left with a one handed mit?

It's worse than that - when it breaks the first time you use it - like mine did - you are left with a useless glove thing with a handle inside!
