Adidas for 25p cheaper? It's a nobrainer :)

But which balls out of the two are better? Isn't Mitre normally expensive. Don't just go the other one just because of the brand now.

I assumed Adidas would be far better, no? I remember back in the day no one bought Mitre balls unless they had 3 quid lying around and were in desperate need of a ball to play with. Just assumptions though, if the Mitre is genuinely better, go for it.

Mitre was the daddy back in my day, the Delta was definitely one of the best. Not bought one for years but might get one for the kids to see what they are like. Can't be worse than a promo adidas one that they were giving out for free with fifa?

mitre are usually better quality than adidas balls, they last longer and dont have their stitching come off like adidas balls do.

How far back are you going when you say "back in the day"? They used to sponsor the Premier League so provided all the balls used for it, so they were considered the best ones about when I was growing up.

I find a lot of non-clothing Adidas stuff to be poor quality so I'd definitely go with a Mitre ball over an Adidas one personally.

Both adidas and mitre have so many versions of footballs out there, it's not as easy to say one is better than the other unless we talk about specific balls.

I've had the opposite effect, my Adidas footy boots and footballs have always been brill, not had many over the years but enough to make a fair judgement. That being said, I do prefer Nike. Oh, and I'm 21 so I guess my 'back in the day' is different to yours? I do however remember that Mitre used to rule English football! Back when the old school baggy kits were in fashion! Loved that style haha.

mitre rugby balls are absolute rubbish. hold air for a week then got to pump them again. Id spend a bit more, or less in the case of adidas, and go with a better brand.

Still is the official ball in Scottish football! (but maybe that's where we're going wrong )

Rather go with the Mitre training ball. Adidas one would be good for wacking it and long ball. Just like England
