This may have already been posted, but after a quick search couldn't see it.

Just seen an advertisement on ITV2 for mix and match BOGOF on various titles.

Featured example was Toy Story Mania on Wii and get Christmas Carol DS FREE!
*Cheapest game free so making a saving of £24.99 according to Game.co.uk prices.

I couldn't see it on their website, so maybe it's an instore only deal.

Visited my local store today and this is some of the titles they had available.

ALL are Buy One Get One Free and you can obtain the offer cross platform.

The ad was on ITV2 about 45 minutes ago, it didn't specify whether it was online or instore only. But as it was new games and not pre-owned I would assume it's a national campaign.

I too found that multibuy offer earlier this evening, but the tv ad didn't mention bundled pairs and gave the impression it was mix and match. I've been recording like a gooden all evening try to catch the ad, but not seen it since. I'll try to pop into a store tomorrow.

Found the ad now. Here's a transcript:

"All this Christmas Game are full to bursting with brilliant value deals. Like Buy One Get One Free on 100's of great titles including Toy Story Mania on Wii and Disney's Christmas Carol on Nintendo DS. Want a sackful of savings this Christmas Game start here."

The ad doesn't state whether it's online, instore or both. In the the Disney multibuy offer there isn't 100's of titles, so I'm guessing it's a different promo.

To be honest, GAME is being thoroughly thrashed in the value stakes buy CEX - certainly with 2nd Hand Games.

Only worth buying the game, if the other (FREE) game is any good ..... and it tends not to be.

Hmmm, it's odd then that the two games shown in this pic are Disney games which would suggest it's the Disney buy one get one free???

As you can tell from the transcript the ad was a bit sketchy at best. There's nothing in it to reflect that the offer is for pre-bundled games.

Although Disney's A Christmas Carol (DS) is £24.99 on it's own from Play.com whereas you get a game free for the same price with the Game deal, so HOT.

Also, Toy Story Mania is £24.99 (Wii) from Play.com.

Just thought I'd add - It is a bit misleading of Game to show in the add two games that can not be bought together?! It's either two DS games or two Wii games! Shame as I'd have liked to of had the two in the add for presents.
#13
yeah this seems to be the BOGOF offer on disney games - shame you can't actually pick the two games you want they are already bundled up, good deal if they have what you want , heat added

I thought that too! But it states 100's of titles and the disney multibuy doesn't have anywhere near that amount. Of course I could be wrong and the ad had been deliberately vague.

what about left for dead 2 on xbox ???? bogof???looked cant see anything
#16
Theres buy one get one wii game free at Coventry, I'll look later and see if i can the metroid trilogy with something else.
Usually you can't mix and match games from different consoles op GAME generally says no as they do.
#17
found this on the website as mentioned before looks like its only bogof on disney

Well I went instore and the deal is only on wii or ds games, I don't know much about wii myself even though my family just got one, I'm at uni so can't play:(
Off the top of my head the games are generally £29.99.
They are: Dead space extraction, Conduit (special edition), Pro evo 2009, Cursed mountain, lego star wars complete, lego indiana jones (not the new one though), the rest of the BOGOF titles were a mixture of Disney titles.
And you can't mix and match between the consoles someone tried and the manager denied him.
#19
Hot deal, but the thing is, with game, you mostly end up paying twice the price of a game anyways. Then there is the mentally challenged store staff trash to put up with. Nothing like ordering online. At least your browser doesn't give you a look as if they're ridiculing you for standing too long in the stalls or if you cannot make up your mind.
#20
You CAN mix and match games from each format in BOGOF, it does discount on the tills!

At staff discretion though, GAME staff are very picky of those things and discounts anything they do is to maximise profit.

I JUST COME BACK. I MANAGED TO USE UP SOME OF MY GIFT CARDS THAT I HAD FROM THE ds GAMEs OFFER in april, SO I BOUGHT 5 COPIES OF WIZARDS OF WAVERLY AND 5 COPIES OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL @ £29.99 each, BOTH GAME stores including . THE ONE IN DEBS HAD NO MENTION THAT THESE GAMES WERE BOGOF ,
#23
I work for Game........This is an automatic discount that happens at the till,simple....you buy one you get one free and it is mix and match over ds and wii,you only have to pay for the most expensive game and get the cheaper(or same price) game free ,it is not on just disney games and there must be a few hundred titles in the deal across the two formats to choose from.

THIS IS A REAL GOOD DEAL.

Guys, i work for Game in Telford and the offer is on loads of titles across Wii, DS and PSP all of which are new games (as opposed to preowned) and are more than just Disney titles. New titles get added every Tuesday morning/afternoon depending on store efficiency and there are some decent games in it.
#25
and i don't know where you shop MadonnaProject, but i would take that very offensively if you were to say that about my Game staff, as being one of the managers, i pride myself on the knowledge and experience that my guys have. Every store is different tho, offers remain the same however.

For me they didn't have psp games in the sale and I have 2 GAMES near me and both had the offer although they had slightly different games in it though, thanks for saying about them adding more titles I'll check in the afternoon I hope metroid is in the offer.

What New Psp Games Are In The Offer? Coz Either The Game Staff Are Lazy Or Dont Want You To Know Bout Them
#28
I have a list of the games which are available in my local store. I will update here later this evening.

The bundles obviously give you less choice, but if you're after those games anyway I totally agree!
