Also, £32.50 possible on quidco, and if the accessories voucher does not work - then speak to an online assistant, ask them a few questions and they should give you a code.
#2
dont forget £30 RAF aswell.

Also using a code will void quidco cashback - thats what it said on their website.

absolute rubbish!

just renewed my 300 mixand match with 3 which was £15
refused to offer any better deal despite getting PAC etc
So cancelled and got new contract with them and £20 accessory voucher / quidco

£13.50 for 500 mix and match with 3000min 3 to 3 calls ( no use cause none of my mates are on it!) , sell nokia 6120 phone for c. £50 and quidco = £80
so it works out about £8.50 a month , not bad but there are sim only deals around this price which is basically what it now is

Great deals on a flakey network with the industries worst customer service - now that's hot !
#7
My and my wife are both on 3. Can we RAF each other again? and get £30 each???

Well, reception is crap in some places - but if you don't have 3-branded mobile you can always chose gsm only mode which can give you more stable signal (though you may loose some services as video-call and skype and 3 considers that illegal).

CS is obviously not the best one - but eventually they do their job and if there is anything serious you can always write a letter to their head-office and you problems are likely to be sorted out by some 'terribly scottish-accent' speaking person :-D

likely scenario - orange and t-mobile are merging soon and there are some rumors that o2 and voda are going join as well, so it will be very difficult for 3 to compete with such monsters.

No, they do not do their job eventually. They leave you on hold for 25 minutes and then cut you off. Then they lie to you. Then head-office sends you a letter saying that, according to the notes writen by their lying staff, they did not lie and there is nothing they can do.:x

been with 3 for 6 years now and very happy customer. More minutes than any other network and never had a problem with customer services. They are not likely to go bust either knowing their backers.

Was going to post this deal as I thought it was very good.
I've been with 3 about 5 years, have had no problems with network coverage where I live in Tamworth or when I've been on holiday, they latch onto the Orange network if you carn't get a 3 network signal.
Mins to £'s they always come out best for a contract phone over other networks.
Customer service is rubbish especially when you want to cancel (average for me is 3 calls due to getting cut off, about 20mins each), going to try a new trick and tell them I am recording the conversation to see if that helps.
I always go through Quidco and it has always tracked (paid after 3 months) £32.50 for this deal at the moment.
Did a trial buy run today and code for £20 accessories worked, not going to get it until 30th Sept which is the last day of the offer.
The Sony W595 (comes with 2GB flash card) gets an average of about 8.5/10 from 4 review sites I've looked at (£130 to buy on PAYG) and its sold as a phone for music lovers with a long battery life, as the phone is for my son and he's after an mp3 player so this kills 2 birds with one stone.
In short for 500mins/texts to any network + 300 3to3 mins for £11.51 a month (after Quidco - 29p VAT reduction + £1.95 admin charge) on 18month contract + £20 accessories voucher + £130 free phone, its a great deal.

The only problem with Sony Ericsson is their idiotic proprietary memory card.

That's the point really. They've all got appalling customer service. I've had appalling treatment from Three, but I'm not naive enough to believe that the other networks are any better, and as Three is giving me a good deal, I'm sticking with it.

Mobile phones are cheap. Get used to the consequences. And play the system by making the effort to swap networks occasionally.
#18
Interesting - they seem to have dumped the Nokia 6120 since yesterday, which has been at this price for some time. Can still be found in Google's cache.

couldn't agree more. However my personal experience is crap CS from 3, and good CS from Voda and O2.

tmobile and 3, are going to network share, so theyre merging.

Bit of a crap idea saying its being recorded, as the advisor will only ensure that he is correctly fulfilling his job role by presenting you with offers and will try to retain you on the network :whistling:

Selected contracts? You mean like the one that is the subject of this thread? So long as the existing customer is on a pay-monthly contract (including mobile broadband that isn't SIM-only), the existing and new customers will each get £30 credit. That's what the T&Cs say.

Well, I had some serious problems, which i managed to solve after the head-office intervene. and I have got a compensation as well. though it took about 2 month to sort everything out. So I think they do there job, though very poorly. Anyway, orange, voda and t-mobile have poor CS as well. not sure about O2 as have never had any experience with them.

3 used to share network (gsm) with o2 until couple of years ago and reception was great. then they co-oped with orange and it caused a lot of problems for many customers. I never heard that 3 and t-mobile share same network, but taking into consideration the fact that orange and t-mobile are merging, creating in the nearest future a new common brand, i can think that all three companies may share networks, which doesn't mean that this network is going to be good :)

i think it means - RAF is valid if you take 18 or 24 months contracts and not for 6 or 12 m.

Ill-informed...?...I had a business contract with 8 numbers on 3 you muppet and am speaking from first hand and very painful experience.

Do you think that people just spout off about how bad 3 are because there's nothing good on the TV - in the telecoms industry they are recognized as having the highest churn rate, the highest frequency of customer support calls for single issue resolution and the highest customer dissatisfaction of all the carriers.

Three has EXCELLENT signal around Northampton and Northamptonshire, although expanding every month!

If anyone buying this is interested in the £30 referral credit, PM me and I can arrange the referral.

Ooh err - touched a raw nerve didn't I?

When was this contract, and what areas did it cover?

Yep - the bad reputation it deservedly had in the early days has stuck. Simple prejudice - a very easy trap to fall into.

in the telecoms industry they are recognized as having the highest churn rate, the highest frequency of customer support calls for single issue resolution and the highest customer dissatisfaction of all the carriers.
Care to provide a link that proves that?

PS Worth repeating: I'm not saying Three are any good. I'm not saying the others are, either.

Checked the code and took link from GOS web site last night. Worked fine.

Had to speak to present mobile company as bill is in my name nad want to change it to wife before getting a PAC code,

The discount code no longer works. Wonder if its because its been abused in another thread?
