Excellent price better going for the 0w40 if you value your car

Our Tesco's has never sold engine oil over 2 litres in size.

Likely to be available in certain stores, however good price if you can find it.

0w 40 Is a very "thin" oil , nothing wrong with that but you
will find that certain engines will go through it quickly , best
to regularly check the oil level

All depends on what car you have. Better to have a thicker oil ( 10w ) in an older car ( especially my 'R' reg diesel ) as this oil ( 0w40 ) is so thin it will find any leaks in seals. Wouldn't hesitate to put it in my 06 car though. Very good deal, will be buying some of both.

Hmm, not really true, the 0w part refers to the thickness in cold conditions (eg when you start the engine) the 40 refers to the thickness at operating temperature. So 0w40 is just like 10w40 when the engine is at operating temperature.

None at my local :(

Annoying as I need 5l for a fuel/oil/spark plug change this weekend :(
#10
None in mine either.

I'd love to know just how many Tescos had this offer because I've been in several and none of them even stocked Mobil oils.
#12
Express in Tamworth does.

Just seen this at Tesco Express, Thornton Road, Bradford.

Bagged 2 of the Mobil Super S 10w40 Semi Synthetic 5Ltr at £11 each... Bargain!
