Produced exclusively for DVD, with nearly 3 hours of the hottest standup comedians performing in the funniest program on TV.

Mock the Week - "Too Hot for TV" contains all the best laugh out loud moments that couldn't be shown on TV or anywhere else, for reasons of taste, decency and sheer outrageousness.

For the first time see unbroadcastable material from Dara O'Briain, Frankie Boyle, Hugh Dennis, Andy Parsons, Russell Howard and a host of the funniest stand-up comedians on the circuit.

In addition the DVD features exclusive DVD Extras including: 'The Producer's Cut' of the top 3 episodes from series 5 (2007) re-edited with another 17 minutes of too hot for TV material restored.

A must for any fan of the show or anyone who wants to see the most outrageous comedy ever!

Is most of the stuff on this DVD new stuff then? Or is some of it recycled.

Its just that I always watch it, and repeats. I'll get it for Christmas or something if its good and mostly unused material

It says "unbroadcastable material" in the original post, that suggests that it's not stuff we've seen on BBC2 or Dave

It is three (extended) repeats and a bunch of unbroadcasted material. So it's possible you've seen some of it. I started watching it just as they were actually showing the same episodes on TV. :?

Still funny material, mind you

Blurb says it's nearly three hours, and I think that was about right.

yep, that's spot on.

the main outtakes feature is mostly unseen stuff, and the three cherry-picked extended episodes are good ones that have been broadcast, but with a lot of unseen footage.

worth it for Frankie Boyle alone!

Anyone know if this has subtitles on it ? :|

Presume you know about the Amazon refund on price-drops within 30 days, but are *just* outside of that limit? :x
-------------------------
Not many people know this, but Amazon has a price drop policy. If they lower the price on something that youve purchased within the past 30 days, theyll issue a credit (although you have to ask for it).

If you want to check if any of your purchases are eligible for a refund, just follow these simple steps:

1. Visit Your Account and look at all invoices from the past thirty days.

2. Click on the item names to pull up the current item description/price and compare to the price that you paid.

3. If you paid more than the current price, copy down the order number and go to the Return and Refunds Contact Form page.

4. Select Refund Inquiry as your subject, and check off the order(s) of interest. If you dont see the order in question listed, enter the order number in the Other field.

5. State in the comments that the price dropped, and that you want to be credited for the difference. It might help to mention the item name as well as old and new price, but Im not sure that this is necessary.

Going to see Frankie Boyle live tonight in Cheltenham! The man is a genius.

This is definately worth it at this price if you like humour that 'pushes the envelope'
#15
It's actually only £3.64!!!

Use the 5% off discount & go through Quidco for another 4% cashback!

:-D

You can watch this on a certain video clip site, I particularly like to sit down with a tube of Pringles when doing so.

So does Russell Howard andMichael McIntyre also uses jokes from his stand up on mock the week.
Comedians reusing jokes is nothing new.
And by the way the Frankie Boyle dvd is top quality.

Fair enough I wasn't wanting to start an argument, just saying I was a bit disappointed that he couldn't get a new routine for his big tour. From what I have been reading he didn't just reuse some jokes, his whole set was basically a 'frankie boyle mock the week greatist hits' but ill watch it and see for myself :)

P.S honoured that your second post was a reply to my comment :p
