yes

not really hot

tesco was cheaper a few weeks ago but the price has since jumped to £45 since Activision bumped up the R.R.P on the game to £55 instead of £50

They used to be SoftUK - From what I know they are very reliable...

Why the cold votes without justification. This is the cheapest price right now.

I've voted it hot. £37.99 is the best price by far right now. Not too far off from being the best price ever.

I just wanna know when they take the money. If it's now, then no thanks. Just a principal thing really. It's why I avoided the Tesco deal.

£30 on realise.

Why do people always make comments like this in these threads? It's really annoying. Can you see into the future? No. Do you know this as fact? No. So until it's confirmed, don't say anything.

**EDIT: barbour9, you might want to add in the original post that they don't take payment until despatch, which is a big plus and something Argos and Tesco couldn't offer.**

This is definitely worth ordering now, just so it's guaranteed, and IF...IF...it's going to be £30 on release, cancel the pre-order. Win/Win.

I avoided the Tesco deal for precisely the same reason (Incredibly annoying as I would also like to pre-order Forza 3 there).

Watched the new Modern Warfare Multiplayer video posted on XB: Live, it looked pretty amazing.

conversely, you could say why do people (OP) make such bold statements as 'never dropped below £40'; yet it was £35 at tescos for ages

it'll be sub £30 at morrisons etc on release

I have no crystal ball, but my bet is that it won't be sub £30 at Morrison on release. £34, maybe.

That's not even remotely the same thing, though. The OP has obviously missed the Tesco deal, which is completely understandable, considering we all can't know of every single deal on here, but it was an honest mistake.

You're basically just making a wild assumption based on the past, which holds little to no merit at all. Especially given the fact that this is one of, if not the first game on the PS3, that has a definite £45 RRP.

Your also making a wild assumption it isn't if not a little more wild, based on the fact that the evidence is in our favour, with the past two CoD titles following this rule. :?

Just for the record, I didn't say that.

Also, with the coverage that this game has received and the Activision boss stating that the RRP is higher than normal, I would be extremely surprised to see this sub £30 at Morrisons.

That's all irrelevant, for anyone wanting to preorder, they can't get any better than £37.99 if they use quidco!

I spoke with their customer service on live chat and they confirmed that they take payment when the item is delivered. not when it's ordered
