Just called my local store (Swansea) and they said it was £44.99.
#10
£44.99 in Bridgend as well ... hmmmm!
#11
Not online yet, and I can't see this being store specific. Should be nationwide tomorrow? Also @ scm8jet: they've probably not seen the markdown, just like Saw at Tesco.
#12
£44.99 for both formats in Northallerton
#13
Anyone know the state of the one in belfast?
#14
So this is 170 degrees hot and only 2 people are saying the price has dropped? :p

so what? if its £26 in even just one store then that's a deal for someone.
#16
Hot if true but I don't believe it based on 2 people and most stores reporting £44
#17
ive just rang the store in oldham and the guy said its £44 quid.

Sorry how is the markdown seen? Do the stores recieve an email and they update prices individually. I assumed that they would update prices centrally so the new price would be picked up everywhere automatically.

I sense an early morning trip.

last time this deal was on our local store got 20 in :|
#24
Definitely voted hot.

Hope they keep it at this price.

More people should be encouraged not to pay full price (e.g. £39.99 or £44.99 or higher for games) as they would then be forced to bring the prices down. :whistling:

But such is the problem, rationing. Like, wtf? This isn't war times. Sort it out Sainsburys.

Ditto, £45 is a lot to pay and doesnt seem justified to me. How can one company sell a game for £45 and another sell the exact same title for £25?
#27
Thank you

Just to get more profit for themselves. It's just not on.

It's about time people voted with their feet and stopped paying these prices.

Problem is there are always some people willing to pay the full amount - especially people making Pre-Orders which can often be the worst prices

I can remember shops selling Street Fighter 2 on the SNES for £50 nearly 20 years ago - don't see it stopping anytime soon. Just be greatful for sites like these that spread the word of bargains to be had.

A couple of members have checked the price and found it to be £44 so I think this should be expired unless some proof is provided............

I remember similiar also, but since we now have many chsain stores and big supermarkets the stuff should definitely be cheaper overall.

As I said before though, the prices would come down if ppl would stop paying crazy amounts - the businesses would be forced to drop them

Looks like a false alarm. Just called few stores in South Wales - £44.99 everywhere.

I don't know anything about you BUT I can tell you I think you look pathetic posting what you did. Either Vote Hot or move on, do you live anywhere near Oldham?

Since when has Oldham been anywhere near South Wales..... Can anyone read or be bothered to get off their ar5e and physically check themselves. How many IDIOTS said the original deal wasn't happening? Mods moved so many from deals to misc and they all turned out to be true and then Costco did it for less which had to be written down in history!
