  I think they ruined COD when they introduced all these perks. When they kept it simple like COD 4 it was a thing of beauty.

  Cheaper than the first Black Ops, well with such terrible multiplayer what do you expect, which is something that I'd never think I'd say a bout Call of Duty.

  Terrible multiplayer? The multiplayer is as fast and frantic as it always is and the game definitely has it's faults, but while I prefer the maps on MW2, terrible?..... Far from it.
  
  The first two reviews I looked at:
  "The multiplayer is hands-down the best it has ever been" - IGN
  "Pros - Exciting and entertaining competitive multiplayer" - Gamespot
  
  I saw this for sale used in a shop yesterday for £20, so £15 new is a bargain.

  only thing that kept me playing was the community game "infected" and i was happy when they annouced on twitter/facebook they would expand the commuinty features but yet we seen nothing of it and black-ops 2 is round the corner so where most likely never see it :/
  also it annoyed me how i was told by them to purchase elite because if you planned to get all the map packs you would save a considerable amount and now these maps are in 50% and 25% sales all the time makes you wonder what bull there tell you this time around with black-ops 2 :/

  Agreed. It was a step backwards from CODBLOPS. So much about this game failed and the controls are like playing in glue.

  I enjoyed this cod the most out of all. Though i do not even touch single player. I have racked up 21 days online playing time which is not good for my life.

  CoD4 was outstanding, MW2 had some great upgrades and was fun but MW3 was pretty much just boring.
  
  I didn't play CoD:WaW but I got Black Ops which was alright.. I'm definitely not getting Black Ops 2 though.

  thanks - heat added. was waiting for this to drop in price as i really only wanted it for campaign and spec ops. for £15 you can't really go wrong - whether it's a good or bad game will have to wait n see :)

  I think it's a case of 'be careful what you wish for'.
  After Black Ops, a lot of people decided that Infinity Ward, and Modern Warfare were the only Call Of Duty games worth buying.
  
  Then when MW3 came out, a vast majority of gamers considered it to be too similar to MW2, and I saw a lot of them on EBay the next day.
  
  There's no doubt that Treyarch COD's are not as fast and frantic as Infinity Ward's. Many gamers swore they would never buy a Treyarch COD after Black Ops - we will see!
