Can we see proof? I thought this required IW to be able to play.

I bought it the first time it was listed on here. Got my code yesterday. Downloaded it. Works fine. Both single player and multiplayer. It does not require Infinite Warfare at all. Only the codes in the Physical boxed copies do to prevent trade ins.

For those questioning... this is taken from the actual Activision support page:

Thanks, so does that mean that on the PS4 version it's just a download copy of MWR (single + multi)? If that's the case I'd just get this version. Not interested in IW.

Surely far too pricey for a PS3 port?
It is a fantastic game and I will be buying for sure but not at this price.

Exactly that, yep. I don't own IW as I didn't want it. I bought this and it just downloaded MWR. Bit of a heads up though, select the option to download the single player first once you've redeemed the code, as you can start playing that after the first 10gb is downloaded. You have to download the entire game to play the multiplayer. ;)

Is it a separate code or do you log into someones account to download the game of that ? (So for example, if I bought a game on my account and wanted to give it to you, you'd have to log into my account to get it).

I agree it is a bit pricey for a remaster, but I know a lot are just buying the legacy edition just for this which costs about £70.

This is a cheaper option if you're just after the MW remaster.

It's a separate code that you redeem on your own account on the Playstation Store. :)

good to know that if we sit tight, they would drop the no-sense and we can enjoy what we like without that shirthy sci-fi that nobody cares.

For those wondering how it plays. I can confirm it's still the good old cod from back in the day. None of this flying around nonsense.

I asked cd keys to confirm a disc or digital copy of infinite warfare wasn't required, this is there reply...

Hello,

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered is definitely playable online with friends and also does not require Infinte warfare.

I was happy to pay £36 for MW remastered, no way do I want infinite warfare.
Cheers to the OP, wouldn't of known cdkeys had copies if you hadn't of posted.

No worries, I think most just want the Remastered MW, and as yet this is the only way to get it without infinite warfare. So I'm shocked it's gone cold to be honest.

I think it's more to do with the fact it was only £32.99 this morning, IMO that is still quite expensive considering the Legacy edition is about £20-25 more than the standard version, which says that MWR has a value of £20-25 going by their pricing.

Out of stock again now.
#28
Yep they probably bumped the price up when they saw the demand and now out of stock so it will be a while before it comes down again.

This will be £30 when Activision release it separately, without a doubt, judging by the pricing of their remasters like Transformers Fall of Cybertron and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Well I bought it this morning at £32.99 it's fully downloaded and works 100% fine thanks op! :D

I reckon you could be right, I will probably end up purchasing it if CDKeys drop the price to £32.99 again but I'm not paying nearly £40.

Me too, I don't want IW but I also refuse to pay over the odds for something I already own, but I appreciate some think it may be good value at £38

Yeah just had 2 games and it feels great and it is how cod should be, the pace nowadays is just insane and ruins it so much. Played on bog both times and it's a small map but great fun.

It was £32.99 when the op posted and that was before the FB code, felt like a good deal and I'm more than happy with it, it feels really good :)

That's it back in stock now at £39.99. Before I buy, can somebody just confirm - this allows you to play multiplayer and campaign without needing infinite warfare at all?

Hi mate, I bought it this morning and it works fine without IW :)

it's cold because it's near £40 for a remaster of a very old game that most people have played to death. it's not at all a hot deal.

True. But as most people only seem interested in the remaster it seemed a better deal than paying £70 for the legacy edition just to play it.
