Have you actually bought this as I tried to buy some of this with a 40% voucher about an hour ago and it didn't work. Because it's already reduced it won't go through, has to be a full priced item, or so the assistant told me.

Yep. I bought some from my local Threshers earlier today. I bought 6 bottles.
The voucher does say not to be used with any other offer but the employee didnt seem to care and applied the discount.

Good deal, but an average price for Moet is around £ 22 per bottle.
Still hot though

Haha it's fine. To be fair she was right and only doing her job so can't complain. Might get some of the Lanson though as it's only £4 more and you can get the Rose too :)

I've never tried Lanson, and agree about the price of Moet. I only tried getting it because of the cheap price but as it's already on offer twas excluded :(

to be honest I would go for the Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label You can get it for £25.99 if you buy 3 from Wine Rack which the voucher can be used for so in essence getting the champagne for £15.59 if they accept the voucher.

Get some extra special Cava instead and save yourself even more money. Just as good.

It doesn't work with multibuys unless you get an employee who doesn't care. Voucher does say not to be used with any other offer.

hot for me just for the voucher

I'm printing it off as I type. I'll give it a go at my local tomorrow.

Wish me luck!

Last time they had this offer I used it.

I got in an argument with the bloke in the shop as all the good stuff was already on a small offer, I couldn't use this voucher for much.

He said the 40% can only be off full value items. I said to him to take the current discounts off and charge me full price and I'll use the 40% off instead of their lesser value offers.

He did that for me so it was all groovy.

I would second that, had it not come straight after the Veuve post!

Voucher says can't be used with 3 for 2 offer, not sure how much clearer that could be. Maybe if someone could knock up a 90% off voucher and if the shop assistant was stupid enough you could get that through as well

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is the BEST cheap champagne in the market, I am quite astonished to why this is so cheap because it is the finest most bubbliest champagne around.

I work at the o2 arena in the vip lounge and I have tried champagnes from Bollinger to Moet, LP and even Vintage Dom Perignon 1999 but non taste as good and refreshing as Veuve!

Speaking off, i am stocked up for Christmas and New Year, My company by in bulk and I buy cases off them for as little as £70 for a box off 6. (£11.66 a bottle)

I work for threshers and to clarify the 40% off deal does not work with any other offer, and if it is already on an offer like save £10 like the moet, you can not have the save £10 and have 40% off instead, and if you do get an assistant that doesnt care or messes up trust me it wont happen long, we will get letters from head office telling us not to do it, so if you want to try and get it at this price, do it quick because every one will be told the correct way to do it soon, and an even better idea, just dont shop at threshers because they rip you off so bad for champagne

Is it me or is Moet a bit... naff???
Bit sweet and sickly for my liking. I just prefer a good old sparkling Pinot Noir. Costs about £8 and tastes loads nicer. If you like Moet, maybe just get a decent Prossecco. I don't think that there's that much difference.
If I could afford it, I would go for Krug... but I cannot!
Had it once at a wedding and it was gorgeous!!!!

Cava is nice too, but some of the cheaper ones are a bit harsh.
If Threshers in my area took the vouchers, I would be amazed. It's like the Spanish Inquisition whenever you take vouchers in there :-D
#28
these people prices are over priced in teh first place so when you get the discount there the same price as your local supermarket as a result its not a great deal but heat added if you find other drinks that aint so badly overpriced on the site.
#29
Its Threshers so its obviously a scam to get people in . I agree Moet is certainly not the best bubbly for the money. The Sainsburys Taste the difference is nicer than thius stuff.
#30
should this be expired as it appears the deal in the title is not available? - the OP just got lucky that the staff member messed up at the till....

the best champagne on the market is D&P vintage.... although very expensive, you get what you pay for... with 40% off its £75 a bottle which is a great price
#31
All Champagne is hideously over-priced but the brand is marketed very well.

Full Wine List Click Here

There are plenty of other much cheaper options, try some of the Loire fizzies. Saumur, Montlouis and Chinon do very good sparkling wines . Manufacturers like Ackerman are well established and cheap.

Having just looked through the wine price list, I'll be avoiding Threshers. They are not exactly cheap!
#32
GOOD PRICE...

but, have u seen the lovely bags u are getting from Tesco??????

There are cream ones and pink ones for the Rose...

Really smart - ok! a lot of money to pay for a bag LOL but, looks really smart......
#33
Over priced, cant get the moet at £15, works out just over £20 with the voucheror bolly for £27 which is better
