1300 mAH. 5 hours to charge via USB. Charge them at work!

Ideal for Xbox 360 pad, Wiimote. If you get 2 packs you can charge a pair up in the consoles USB ports so they are always ready. No need to waste extra electric by using a seperate plug charger.

Can also be charged in a normal charger.

Bargain I thought! And helps save the planet and all.

Are you sure you bought enough of them :p.

1300mAH so probably best used for TV remotes etc. Voted hot!

Wow these are a great idea and an amazing price. Think I might take a trip to try and find some later.

Looks like the shop assistant wasn't bright enough to be able to count to ten, so he rang them all in separately. :p

1300 mAH
Half the power of a decent standard NiMH rechargeable.

I have chucked out all the old cells I had with this sort of capacity.
Just old obsolete stock.

Brilliant price and product

Managed to Reserve 10 from my local store

Just quote the product code - 885065

I don't think it's on their main system, but once they transfer you to your local store they should be able to locate it

No stock in any store in Essex :(

Why not try NOT buying them instead - or cut out the middleman and throw them away instead of letting friends & family do it!

Pretty sure I got the last pack in Northampton..
#20
Bought 7 packs in East Kilbride store earlier . They still had about 10-15 packs when I left.

Does anyone know if these will work with Xbox360 Controllers?

Yes, I just tried a set which were only half charged and the controller switched on with a nice bright ring of light. Probably won't last as long on a single charge over more expensive batteries but who cares when they only cost 47p per pack. Just Leave a set plugged in on the front of the 360 and switch them over when needed .
#23
When I picked mine up they told me they had originally been £15 a pack when first released and then down to £8 a pack and now 47p. Who cares about how they compare power wise. will sit perfectly in the various tv remotes I have laying around the house. Im supprised these are not hotter!

Has anyone heard whether there will be more stock once they've gone. Don't fancy finding another Currys having gone to two already for my measly one pack lol

Anything priced ending in a 7 is usually discontinue stock reduced to clear. Once they're gone they're gone.

These are definitly discontinued stock. when i called up the main number on their website, I gave the guy the item number and he looked at every store local to me to check who had stock and how much. Worth a try!

They have something very similar to this poundland, didnt look closely so no idea of the capacity etc and obviously they are 53p dearer but if you want to try them its another option :)
#28

#29
Bought some of these for like £11 couple of years back..

Very handy for your wireless mouse..You get about 3 weeks to a month out them.

I saw those as well but the capacity was only 850mah. And you only get one AA.

Like £11? Interesting, was it £12 which is like £11 but £1 more or well you get the idea. The bast'disation of the word 'like' is humourous.

You aint familiar with the system so not very fair to question someones intelligence... I used to work for PCWorld - same system. You gotta scan everything individually - no way around it.

As for the deal itself... what a deal! It would be perfect for the 360 remotes as we go througha tonne of batteries for them.
#34
I had a couple of these in a Boffer BoC. They're quite flimsy. Mine fell apart after a few weeks.
#35
Note - current is drawn so you won't save much electricity if any by using this compared to a charger
#36
thanks, got last 4 packs from Leamington Spa Branch, none left in Stratford Upon Avon either for anyone local to me
#37
last 8 in Crawley for me. thanks!
#38
I got 4 packs from Telford branch ..Still about 6 packs left ....The assistants looked interested when it rang up at 47p instead of the shelf price ...so maybe they have had the stock.
Charging them up now ..So will see how they perform later
#39
Could someone pick me up 4 packs I will pay total cost for 4 of them and postage? Please PM me if you can.
