This product is nothing short of fabulous, cannot recommend it highly enough.
The binding is soft leather and it bends almost flat to write in easily due to it being thread bound. This is a big thing for me as I hate trying to write in books at an angle because they won't bend flat. The paper is a soft cream parchment and is excellent quality, I write in mine in biro and it doesn't mark through the pages. The elastic strap at the front keeps everything held together well and there is a fabric strap to mark your page.
The pages are split with the left side being the weekly diary and the right side being ruled paper for writing. This is a really practical idea as I use the ruled side for noting "To Do" items, phone numbers and reminders. The front of the diary contains the usual time zones, measures and conversations and usefully a calendar and yearly planner for 2009 and 2010. The rear of the diary has a folded pocket which is a fantastic addition for me as I have to keep all sorts of receipts etc for expenses claims and I am forever losing them - now I can keep them all together and make sure I have them with me when I want to submit them.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this diary to anybody - if in doubt then take the plunge, for the price this is an absolute no-brainer.
