I was gluded to this when i was younger on a sundya morning :)
Ooooah, this is tempting X)
Classic, top price, thanks.
with the previously undubbed episodes
Does you mean they are now dubbed?
Been price-watching this ever since it came out - aside from a miss-price, I don't suppose it will be any cheaper.
Tempting. Especially for the disco scene in a sea monster's stomach while Pigsy is lost in the maze of intestine. Monkey doing the Robot, brilliant.

13 episodes were considered to be too scary for kids so they didn't over-dub them until a few years back with the same actors.
Best episode is when pigsy is down a well with lots of women and monkey was up top watching.
what a show -
went to see a show last xmas with the chinese state circus and shaolin monks and the told the "monkey story" was really good - may have to get this come payday !

I watched repeats of this a few years back. Loved the series when I was a kid, but as usual the memories were a lot better. A deal for people who have £36 going spare that they just have to spend and won't miss.
To clarify, the missing episodes are here but are undubbed with Japanese audio and English subtitles. The dubbed versions are available elsewhere.
Used to drive my parents mad watching this on a Friday evening on BBC 2 around tea time...
He he used to love this.
that was then...this is now
I used to love watching monkey on a Friday and with a chippy tea, must have been early - mid 80's
omg i miss when they used to show this on tv in the early hours!
Not sure if this stands the test of time, however the theme tune still ROCKs. I was really pleased to hear it played by Richard X who was Djing at a St Etienne gig last year.
So was Tripitaka a boy or a girl ????

Proper confused me as a child!!!
