  Monopoly was originally devised by a socialist to illustrate the evils of capitalism- true story.
  
  I remember my father exploding and calling my little sister a "bitch" for taking advantage of an even littler sister in a deal, She was maybe ten years old at the time.

  Seems like a good price to me.
  If there was a Sainsbury's near me I'd pop along to see if any left.
  Think in it's day it was a great game.
  The PC version is OK but doesn't give same feel not handling the money.
  Still got my original with wooden houses and hotels, but box has seen it's day.

  No matter how the game goes it almost always ends the same.:
  
  Winner: gloat for the rest of the day
  Looser(s): swear to never speak to the winner again as they MUST have nicked a £500 while you weren't looking.
  
  Don't think I've ever seen a happy ending to Monopoly :-)

  I don't post Sainsbury deals any more. Too many issues.
  
  Anyway, the computer versions of this game are much better, as the computer takes care of the banking- no figuring, no cheating.

  Cheating is a crucial aspect to making this somewhat dreary game , interesting! Help yourself to a 500 note/house/hotel/exta card, move forward an extra space, move your competiors back one, charge ludicrously high rent. Devise cruel and unusual punisments for those caught cheating. Some good life lessions to be had by the youngsters playing the game.
