MONOPOLY has also been given a makeover with a new CITY version that allows you to build skyscrapers in the middle of the board. You can also ruin your opponent's land by shoving a rubbish dump on their plot thus reducing its rental value. Good price for a new version.

This was ASDA Winsford - but on its own promotional cardboard stand so would assume a national offer.

- Still struggling to add pictures - sorry.

Yeah, you're right, it must be a national offer because I saw these yesterday in my local Asda in Dundee  Wish I'd bought one now and put it away for the kids for christmas, because my sister said when she went in later yesterday most of them had gone, heat added
:-D

Me too!
Fun game, though havn't played it in years!

From what I remember it lacks some of the depth of Monopoly, and it isn't very well balanced.
The Boomerang was way too powerful, get it built up early and you'll almost certainly win.

Another cheap trick that turned a game around for me on atleast one occasion, was to attempt to build the President Main Building + all 3 extensions in one turn.
The 1 in 6 chance of getting your building for free is worth a shot!
Though with a 4 in 6 chance of becoming bankrupt it's only for the very desperate :-D

Hey guys,

No offense - but just so you know, in the US the standard price for any monopoly is 25 US$, which is around £15. Under offer they cost around £9 :S

Yeah but all the street names are wrong, hence the low price. Would you pay top $ for defective goods? :giggle:

heh heh - might have to dig it out tonight and have a game now - from what I remember yeah boomerang was too good but if someone buys it you just have to buy the hotel opposite and block it's entrances, it didn't have many so can easily be cut down to just 2 which levels things up nicely :)
