Most of it is old stuff up to five years old brought out in every sale to bulk it out ,I work there and the clothes are some of the poorest quality iv ever seen and are only worth it at maximum discount as you only get one possibly two wears out of most the stuff .People only buy it for the monsoon tag not the quality or price .And there struggling have been for a few years id not be suprised if they go bust especially in this climate it was hard enough to get sales last year yet alone now

Blimey. I wouldn't employ you. No wonder they are struggling if they employ people like you. Morons. Good luck looking for a new job, 'cos if the majority of Monsoon staff have your fine attitude then they will go bust.

Its the same for evening wear tops as well at my Monsoon in West London. not sure about on line though.

As for the dresses I have bought three that were this season, I know as I went to buy then before Xmas.

You're out of order there mate. Calling her a moron? FFS. Would you rather she said, "Oh it's great quality, and the latest fashions too! Can't believe it's going so cheap people. Fill your boots!". Then people buy it, realise it's **** and come on here lambasting such comments?

If true, she obviously knows the tricks Monsoon play and digging out 5 year old stock and poor quality dresses is NOT going to keep you in business when there are better retailers going bust every week.

My wife has bought a couple in their sales before and if you choose wisely you can wear them for special occasions and then sell them on ebay for not much less (or even more in one case)

As people have said sell a summer dress in the summer and people will pay for the monsoon label

That quote is out of order. The person was mainly advising us not slagging the place off unduly.

To be honest I think Monsoon quality is of high standard, similar to Coast, but each to their own really....

leona71.wynne1975 Thank you .your both right im only saying what my personal opinion is and as i know the company i have every right to advise people if i wish. No one has to take my advise.

Id like to point out that jeans and some tops are good quality but overpriced. But evening dresses and anything with detail are worn once items. So much gets returned and the best thing to do is like another poster said buy put it on once sell for a profit on ebay. as people love the brand.

I love Monsoon ethics which is why i work there but in my opinion and others that work there the clothes(other than jeans ) can not be worn often and fall apart easy
