Still well overpriced for its contents!!
#3
Possibly a good price but I would go for a £2.50 HDMI cable and
I think power surges are a bit thin on the ground
#4
poor deal, you can buy all that separately for less than £35.

also, the original price is surprisingly expensive £100 for some wire and cleaning fluid O_O

Added price & retailer to title- Thanks for your post :)

Very over priced but that is what virtual all monster products are.

As an example a quick look on Ebuyer gave me

8 way belkin surge protector £16.40 (over priced)
2m HDMI = £2.99
Screen cleaner = £6

HDMI is digital, hence data is ones and zeros, so it either gets there or ot does not. Unlike analogue signals, where you need v high quality cables, digital signals are the same over a cheap cable as an expensive one.

This was never going to be a hot deal... When you have people on this forum going on about not being able to see a difference between 720P and 1080P on a 32" screen, they will never see the difference a proper cable can make

im sorry but your talking rubbish. there is a vast difference from a 2.99 hdmi cable as opposed to a 49.99 or above cable. your telling me that you would use a 2.99 cable in a tv that cost over 1000 pounds? if thats the case then your 1000 pound telly isnt performing as good as it could, 2.99 cable in a 200 pound telly maybe but not in a telly thats a good performer.

You've spent far too much time listening to the sales bods at Curry's

at anything under 5 metres ANY HDMI cable will do the same job.

sorry but a £50 HDMI cable will give the same results as a £2 one !
its just like connecting a printer to your PC , do you have a £50 monster cable on your printer ?
HDMI cables only have two results..........work , perfect or not working ,
£50 one will not improve picture quality
#12
that's true - a cable would need to contain a computer, reprogramming the digital signal to make any difference.
would expensive floppy discs make your word document look better?

Another sucker buys into the sales hype. :w00t: My friend, I'm afraid it's you who is talking rubbish :whistling:

Like I said, there is a point with expensive analogue cabling. Not with digital though eg. HDMI.

PS. My "telly" (DLP projector) was over £5000, and I happily just use the cable that came free with my player. I do use a very expensive £250 component cable from my old DVD player though, to connect to it.

the 1s and 0s are smoother and rounder with a more expensive cable :)
they are also shouted louder.

Love the just look at these two cables we happen to have. If the reviewer had taken a cable he knew to work and compared it, i would have been more impressed. As for wear and tear that argument is nearly extinct anyway due to the amount of inputs and no longer the need to keep disconnecting cables.

Not for me chef. Why do they need to measure things with fancy machines? What a load of dogger

I use my eyes to see if theres any difference - and there's not. Obviously :whistling:
