Great film, should look awesome on Blu. The Widescreen DVD version is a bitch to get hold of these days, and can cost this price!

Silly price to be fair.

this seems quite good but has it got a good manufacturer's warranty?

Don't understand 'silly price' comment. This is by far the cheapest option for anyone wanting this and lets be honest its going to be a great Blu Ray.Only other option is to import the US version but that is over £20.The Canadian version is £18 and that will be covered in French text (and those versions may be region locked anyway). If you can find the Region B version cheaper anywhere else then please post it.

Me too, but it took me buying the 4:3 edition twice first! DOH!

Fantastic, been waiting for this for ages, if it looks half as good as Cars it will look brilliant.

Can't wait for this, if it looks anything like Cars/Wall.E then we are in for a treat.

Sorry to have to say this but in all probability it won't be released in July. Reports on pixar fan sites suggest at this will be released in November at the earliest. Initial reports put the release date back to Spring/Summer 2010 and that is the general feeling amongst people in the know. It is still a good price though.

The advert for it is on the US Blu Ray of A Bugs Life and the picture's amazing

Strange one as this was suppose to be delayed til next summer.

What happens when you pre-order this? Does it take the money straight away?

Does anyone know if Amazon is likely to do a 3-for-2 on Disney Blu Rays again anytime soon?

I'd like to get a couple but they're surprisingly expensive individually.

You always pay a premium for Disney Pixar films, but tbh they are worth an extra couple of quid, as they are all excellent family films you can watch over and over again. Heat!

No mate, they take it when the item is shipped, you can cancel at anytime. It hasn't been delayed until next year.It was supposed to come out this month in the US (with A Bugs Life, which did get released) but was put back until 25th August. As I mentioned earlier, the advert is on the US Bugs Life disc and it states that its coming out this summer.

What does the age of the film have to do with anything ?.Its great movie thats never been released on BD before and its going to look fantastic on it.Perhaps you would prefer something made this year which sucked to add to your collection ?.

I think the expression to your comment is:

Pffffffffffffffffttttttt!!! :whistling:

This will look awesome on Blu-ray, in spite of it's age. However, voting cold because it's being offered by an Amazon merchant not the site itself, and Buena Vista have not confirmed a US or UK release date for the film. I have no doubt that the date on this will be shifted like so many other Amazon BD listings.
