10lbs of whey protein with 4g of BBCA per serving alongside 4g of glutamine for aided recovery. This was voted the Best whey protein powder of 2007 and I recommend it.

One word!

The name here appears misleading as the percentage is normally referred to in protein product's name (such as 80% or 90%). The name here "ON 100% Whey Gold Standard" - would be impossible as to get percentages as high at prices that would be credible.

Their comment...

Optimum Whey Gold Standard - 10 lb at monster prices from Monster Supplement Store (MonsterSupplementStore.com) - Whey Protein Gold Standard from Optimum Nutrition. Whey protein is now better than ever with 24g of pure instantized whey protein and more whey protein isolates WPI the purestt source of whey protein available.

...does not mention the details as fully as another site...

Higher protein percentage. ON's 100% Whey Gold Standard has always been a leader in this respect. Now with 24 grams of protein in just slightly over one-ounce serving, it's nearly 79% protein by weight!

An ounce is 28.349523 grams.

So normally it would be packaged as an 80% product.

Compare to this....

So many training supplements are sold based on hype rather than reality, and if its such a good product - why does it need a misleading name?

If they introduced one called '110% protein' next year - it would probably win.
